I think it is more important to highlight what I am looking for in a partner and who I am. I firmly believe that humility and compassion are keys to any relationship. I desire to be with someone who is not so overly focused on themselves they can look beyond what they want in life and consider others around them. I am looking for somene who can listen to my stories about life and instead of trying to make things instantly all better, they can be there to support and love me unconditionally, without judgment or criticism. I will be your biggest cheerleader and I want that in my mate as well.

A bit about me......I am educated and career oriented. I love what I do for work as a clinical psychologist and am passionate about my field. I hope that you are as well. Outside of work, my personality is silly & light hearted. I can easily laugh at myself and tend to see the world through a glass that is half full. I look for the silver linings in negativity. They are in there, you just have to be open.

I am not your cookie cutter, Coach-wearing Bostonian. I am from the West Coast and carry a sense of style that is a bit eccentric and funky. While an associate professor, I also have 3 tattoos....you get the gist. I gravitate towards men who also carry that funky sense of style. Polo shirts and khakis are not my thing. I am not a superficial person but believe that passion and chemistry are essential in my relationships, and that comes from both inner and outer beauty.

I prefer to read non fiction. I love all types of movies (horror is my fave so I can jump into your lap when I am scared!). I am not into plays, musicals, etc.

I am passionate about music and love to dance around my house belting out tunes! Some of my faves are 80's alternative (Ala: The Smiths), Coldplay, Radiohead, Atlas Genius, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Bros, Muse, Vampire Weekend, and G Love. Authentic Mexican, Thai and Indian with a cold beer are the best! Never miss Homeland, Nurse Jackie, Shark Tank, The Borgias, & a few trashy reality shows.

I day dream a lot about finding my one true love.....corny, but true. Where is he, what is he doing today? Why is it so hard to find him? That kinda stuff....I also wonder what it says about my response style on this site....do I "reply often, selectively...?"

Depends.....I may be going to dinner with friends or just relaxing solo at home. I may also be chasing my little one around.

Well, if you must know....I am a huge SF Giants fan. Grew up across the freeway from Candlestick Park.....baseball is definitely a favorite past time.
