Doing my best to enjoy it. There's a lot that can get in the way of that if you let it. I could write that I spend my free time kayaking, skydiving and competing in triathlons as I've read in so many other profiles, but my pursuits are a bit more down to earth than that. Not that I spend my free time staring at the TV...I enjoy the outdoors (especially the beach), walking my dog, concerts and Giants games to name a few of my diversions. I'd like to include travel in that list, something I don't do nearly enough of, but I want a travel partner first.

Being a good friend, son, grandson, boss, employee (IMO), stranger.

You know what? I've never asked anyone. Check back and maybe I'll have an answer.

I enjoy biographies/autobiographies, Christopher Hitchen's Hitch-22 is a favorite as is Walter Isacon's biography of Steve Jobs and Keith Richard's autobiography Life.

Lincoln has probably been my favorite movie in the last year, mostly because of Daniel Day-Lewis' performance (has he made a bad film?). Let me look through my DVDs to name a few more...Taxi Driver, Annie Hall, There Will Be Blood, The Big Lebowski, The Freshman, Glengarry GlenRoss...I'll stop there, there are too many to list.

I'll watch TV if the Giants or 49ers are playing, but there hasn't been a show in years that has really grabbed me.

My iTunes library has a lot of Bob Dylan, Beatles, Rolling Stones...music of a different era, I know. If you have something more recent that you think I'll enjoy, I'm more than ready to take a listen. My favorite band is the Grateful Dead (Don't judge! Go back and look at my profile photo. Do you see a smelly hippie that hasn't showered in days? Right).

I'll eat just about anything except fish. Sorry. Tried it several times in many forms and it has never tasted good.

Music, laughter, family, friends, the beach, and my dog. Not necessarily in that order.

How long it is until the weekend arrives. What my dog is doing while I'm at work. What I'd be doing if I didn't have to work.

I tend to like to wind down on Friday nights so something like dinner and drinks is ideal. Something to recharge the batteries for Saturday and Sunday.

Is this question really necessary? The more you get to know me, the more I'll reveal. I need a certain level of comfort with someone before I start disclosing private stuff. But I do believe in not keeping secrets from your significant other, which is what I think this question is aiming for.
