My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Bay Area native and other than a four year exile in the northwest, I've lived here my entire life. I can't picture living anywhere else, but that doesn't mean I don't need to get out of town on a somewhat regular basis.

Live music is my most favorite pastime, especially shows at smaller venues. I start to feel out of balance if I haven't been to a show in a few weeks.

I often find myself on the road going to see one of my favorite bands. I haven't found a better way to spend my time than a trip to the mountains, the desert, or either coast with a concert at my destination.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Doing my best at working for the man while simultaneously sticking to my values. Playing the authority figure role even though I am anti-authoritarian by nature.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Resolving conflicts with clients, customers, subordinates and superiors.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy biographies and autobiographies. Right now I'm re-reading Ernest Hemingway's "A Moveable Feast". Marc Maron's "Attempting Normal" currently holds the position of best autobiographical work ever on my list.

Movies worth my time are hard to find, although there are a few classics I never tire of watching, such as "Annie Hall", "Taxi Driver" and "The Godfather".

I try to carve out time each week for "True Detective" and "Maron". But I can't keep up with all the TV suggestions because I usually can't find a good argument against, "isn't there a band in town we can catch?" Or, "maybe we can play hide and seek if we must stay home".

Favorite bands/musicians include the Mother Hips, Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones, and many more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I've tried to think of six things that aren't cliché and failed. As for things I'd prefer not to do without, that list is too long for this already lengthy profile.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Did I over prepare my fall trip to Paris? Should I reconsider going back there and go somewhere else that's on my bucket list?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I try to keep every day of the week atypical, Friday's are no exception.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to show me things I have yet to experience. Tell me about that great book you've just read, a hike most people don't know about, a band that you think I'll like, etc.
