My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Goonies never say die.

Currently on a mission to visit each restaurant on NY Mag's Best New Cheap Eats list and write a review of each.

Intrigued by the possibility that Wilco's whole catalogue could be the perfect soundtrack to a cross-country road trip.

I'm very tempted to get a dog and name her Zuul, just so I can say, "There is no pet, only Zuul."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a political consulting firm in Manhattan. Depending on when you ask me, I could be immersed in what it takes to get a soccer stadium approved, bring world-class bus service to American cities, or stuck on conference calls galore. Wireless headsets are a game changer.

Trying to read all 100 books on the NY Times' list of 2013 notable books before the 2014 list is released in November. (8/31 update: 700 page books on WWI are not conducive to reading on the subway during rush hour, surprisingly.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I make a solid burger and am trying to expand to crab cakes and chicken fajitas.

Also, I can play a pretty mean second base in kickball. And centerfield in softball.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would say it would be my glasses. If you saw me on my way to or from work on the train, you would probably notice me trying to fold the newspaper so as not to annoy the person standing next to me.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Monthly MetroCard - Gotta get around
2. Seltzer - I don't think I could get through the work day without two or three cans.
3. Friends and Family
4. Running - Nothing helps me clear my mind like going for a run in the evening.
5. Cheese - Seriously, what would the world be like without that?
6. Baseball
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking why people hate the G Train so much. It's not that bad folks! Or the F Train for that matter!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Listening to whatever new vinyl record I just picked up and trying to cook a new meal. Or going out with friends for some drinks somewhere in Brooklyn.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was featured in the NY Post's Dating page. The NY Post paid for my dinner! Thanks Rupert Murdoch!

When I'm drunk, I sometimes slip into a Jimmy Stewart accent.

I declared my candidacy for president of the US when I was in kindergarten. Apparently, exploratory committees were the must have toys that year.

Any of this interests you and you want to grab a drink sometime. Or you want to join me as I try out one of NY Mag's Best Cheap Eats Places.

You think Jebediah Atkinson is the new Stefon. You want to find a drive-in near the city.

You're excited that God Help The Girl is finally showing in movie theaters.

You think one of the perks of it being baseball season is listening to Vin Scully call baseball games.
