5'10" 185 lb male with brown hair and the kind of blue eyes that
sometimes get compliments from total strangers. As an avid distance
runner and swimmer, I am in decent shape. Along with working as a
school district business manager (a job which I honestly enjoy) my
interest range from sports to music (I play a little piano) to
working with youth to writing to movies to travel to theater and
the arts. My personality is reserved but I'm quirky and quite
humorous when I get comfortable with you.
I am sincere, quirky, and talented
What I’m doing with my life
Employment: Business Manager of a school district
For fun: A wide diversity of interests from sports to music to
theater to movies to travel to writing to working on the items on
my "bucket list" to youth activities to comedy to...
I’m really good at
I am very smart and somewhat quick witted. I have had a strong
academic background and learn easily. I am somewhat creative and
have a bit of a unique sense of humor. I am a decent athlete
excelling in distance running and swimming these days and was a
very good table tennis player in my time. I am a struggling golfer.
I play piano though not well enough to play in public and I took
some singing lessons but am not a soloist...at least yet. I have a
mind for the trivial and a pretty good memory for the things that
The first things people usually notice about me
I am not really sure. I guess that I have a thick full head of
hair. This isn't necessarily common for men over 40. I have blue
eyes that have gotten compliments from strangers from time to time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am not much of a book reader, though newspapers and magazines are
constant companions. I like all kinds of different movies, from
comedies to mysteries to action adventure and even a romantic
moment can move me. I like many varieties of music including
country, rock, classical and pop. Reminds me of a funny comment I
once made. A friend and myself were driving to a Brewer game and
discussing the latest musicals we had taken our female interests to
recently. I told him, "we sure talk enough about broadway musicals
for a couple of straight guys." (perhaps you had to be there) Food
comes in many varieties and I am a fan of most. When dining out I
tend to order seafood, but a good steak is always appreciated. I
actually like the wide varieties of breads and appreciate the
subtle differences in flavor.
The six things I could never do without
I think there isn't much I absolutely couldn't do without except
that which sustains life. Oxygen, water, nutrition..But I hardly
think this is what the question is asking: Let's see: My Blue
Ribbon College Basketball Guide..my favorite piece of reading
material, Maps or a GPS cuz I don't have the greatest sense of
direction, a trusted friend, while the exact person has changed
over the years, I really need that outlet to celebrate and vent,
depending on the situation, Hate to say it but my cell phone. I
avoided owning one for quite a while but now its hard to live
without, Warm dry sox, cuz my feet get cold in winter, and email so
I can keep track of my widely scattered friends. Probably not my
exact list but its off the top of my head
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The next thing...sometimes its the next big thing like a new place
to live a new vehicle or ...yes..finding that next relationship.
Sometimes its just prioritizing my day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally, I would be out in Milwaukee trying out a new restaurant
and then heading to a show or a game or a movie or something that
would require a ticket. Maybe you will be with me the next time I
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am pretty much an open book, but I would rather have you ask the
question and expect an honest answer from me. I have also
discovered that what people ask about is often what they want you
to know about themselves.
You should message me if
If you want to meet a fun, quirk, reasonably attractive guy who
will treat you amazingly well if there is a mutual connection.
