My Self-Summary
I may appear shy and conservative at first, but that is just about
as far from the truth as it could possibly be (okay, I might be a
little conservative in some areas...this IS Kansas). My friends
would say I'm quick-witted, funny, and nerdy. Not nerdy like
Urkel...nerdy like, "Ask Jenn...she'll know, 'cause Jenn remembers
everything." I like to hang out at home, but more and more find
myself drawn to going out and having new experiences and meeting
new people. I am not a competitive person as a general rule; in
fact, I steer away from being competitive because it comes out
quite strongly. I avoid playing games with people I don't know well
because...well, I'm going to win, and I'm going to have a really
good time doing it. You should probably just accept that. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
What am I doing with my life? Everything I can. It's a constant
process, isn't it? I'm raising two amazing daughters, doing the
best I can not to mess that up. I am a teacher, trying to make a
difference in the lives of my students. I know I won't ever reach
them all, but if just one of them experiences success because of
something I did, then my job has not been done in vain.
I’m really good at
Thinking outside of the box, reading, math, spouting useless facts,
leading. Wow. That's nerdy. I'm also really good at starting small
fires in the kitchen and causing mini-disasters in most homemaking
ventures I set out on. I know, you're just lining up now, aren't
you? Okay, seriously, though...this question sucks. I don't know
what I'm good at. I'll think about it and get back to ya.
