i went to school for literature at umass, loved every second of it, and graduated in '06. i just got my first real job. more importantly, i rock out on every possible occasion, going to as many ska and/or punk shows as my budget allows. i swim on a synchro team in worcester and like playing outside, particularly on playgrounds. i believe that not knowing what's next in life is half the fun.

being a grown-up, working in marketing at a research labratory (with business cards, a cubicle and everything.) it's not my dream job, but I don't have to be passionate about my job, it just has to fund my passions.

Update: I just went to a party this weekend where I was told my "rack is out of the world." So I guess some people notice that first, although I mostly wish they wouldn't.

Movies: chinatown, monsters inc, beauty and the beast, sleepaway camp 3, love actually, punch drunk love, slc punk, amilie, clue, better off dead, hot persuit, indiana jones tetrology, get smart, little miss sunshine, goodbye lenin, dangerous when wet

Music: anything i can jump around my room to. i am especially into ska at the moment. my top five bands, in no particular order are: reel big fish, rancid, the clash (rocks my sock off, but that happens to everyone, right?) CAKE (my love for the band is magnified by the trumpet activated disco ball at their shows), and (number five changes from time to time) mighty mighty bosstones.

Food: i like to make a wide variety of things, i used to work at a specialty foods store (mostly middle eastern) with discount produce. it was like heaven because i got to try new things all the time AND i got to go home with half rotten peaches most nights; they make for some awesome frozen yogurt.
