My self-summary
I'm nothing without my consistent and excitable hand gestures.
I'm a Portland native.

"INFP"

Buzzwords:
Nature, community, baking, creativity, optimism, dancing, camping, polyamory, sex positivity, books, intellectual growth, spiritual growth, emotional growth, bicycles, fancy teas, bouldering, froyo.

"Bisexual" is kinda dumb. I'm about a 2.5 on the Kinsey scale.
What I’m doing with my life
I have projects that make me happy, enough money to get by, and a happy, optimistic buzz that keeps me going strong. Things are pretty gosh darn wonderful.
I like to do a huge variety of things... Not a moment goes by where I'm not passionate about something!

"Make stuff with your hands."
I love using my creativity to bring new and interesting things into the world. I constantly have a project going that either involves: painting, knitting, sewing, drafting, planting, writing, or collaborating. New, exciting projects and skills make me happy.

"Grow stuff with your hands."
I'm incredibly passionate about homesteading and farming; Especially the aspect that causes attention toward eating locally, seasonally, and organically. My hands long to plunge into that damp earth and coax forth food to feed my loved ones! I'm not in a place to create a garden of my own right now, so I head out to a local farm once a week to learn and help as much as I can. Plus helping out in all my friend's gardens.

"Dance around."
Daily yoga and meditation are essential for the continued balance of my soul. As is fresh air, dancing barefoot, the intensely amazing communities I'm a part of, being within and of nature, and laughing freely at every opportunity.

"Touch hearts."
I'm polyamorous! I have been for a little over a year and a half! This concept means lots of different things to lots of different people, so feel free to start a conversation about what polyamorous means for me!
I’m really good at
Building LEGO kits.
Baking delicious treats.
Painting beautiful pictures.
Getting my hands dirty.
Knitting cozy gifts.
Reading books about junk I don't understand.
Riding my bicycle without hands.
Seeing beauty in all things.
Losing at Catan.
Sampling new teas.
Smiling.

Ennnnnthusiasm!
The first things people usually notice about me
Several people, upon first meeting me, commented that I am "charming".

Also, my inextinguishable energy when expressing interest or joy in a subject. (See aforementioned hand gestures.) I am certainly not an apathetic woman.

I am often (Seriously. Multiple occasions.) mistaken for a Burner while out and about. While I am not, technically, I can sometimes see how my asymmetrical style, wild abandon while choosing clothing layers, black canvas and brass utility belt, combined with the company I keep, may lead to that mistake. (I want to go to the Playa, but shit's expensive, yo. I've never had the dough.)

I'm 75% legs.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Richard Feynman.
...And by extension, Quantum Electro-Dynamics.

Blues dancing.
Knitting.
Pies.
Homesteading.

Community. Community! COMMUNITY!
(Not the fucking television show, the fucking social unit.)

How much I truly love and cherish the people I spend my time with. How fortunate I've been to have the opportunity to surround myself with wonderful, loving, positive energy. How much I love riding the high of positive social interactions.

I've been thinking a lot about my body. Several years of physical disability caused me to lose the natural balance, strength, and endurance I used to prize myself in. I've been gaining it back one bike ride, acro-yoga position, stretch, hike, and kayak trip at a time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Taking things easy with a good book and a cup of tea.
Having a drink with a good friend, maybe playing some pool.
Attending one of the many dinner parties my close friends throw.
Painting furiously while listening to Chopin turned all the way up.
Dancing with a wild and breathless smile on my face.
Washing the dirt from my palms after a day of happy weeding and tending.
Drinking an IPA on the front porch with a feline named "The Captain" and listening to my best friends stretch out and let go of the stresses of their week through great conversation and bourbon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm only here because catching people in carefully and elaborately constructed nets wasn't working. The smart ones are too smart to get caught, and I only like the smart ones.

You don't think it's uncool to be passionate, happy, and excitable. Because I am those things, and those things ARE cool, and if you don't agree then we can't be friends.
