How to describe one's life in a paragraph in an online dating site... I'm a guy. Looking for a girl.
I love to be outdoors. I'd like to find someone who likes to do the active things I like, such as hiking, climbing, or kayaking, but can also introduce me to new things and has a spirit of adventure. I also love to travel. I've been to Europe a number of times including backpacking by myself for 6 weeks. It would be great to have a travel partner.
I like to hang out at chill bars or on somebody's porch with a group of friends. I like to go out but not into the club scene.
I make good food, it comes with the territory. I like cooking very much, especially for a group of good friends.
I'm terrible at dancing. Teach me.
What I’m doing with my life
Working a job I love and am passionate about and finding plenty of
time to have fun and do the things I enjoy in between.
I’m really good at
Filling out these okcupid profiles. Geez.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hobbit feet. Not really, that takes a while. Because of shoes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Kite runner, lonesome dove, water for elephants, life of pi, the
sex lives of cannibals, Calvin and Hobbes. Also Christopher Moore
and David Sedaris don't really write bad books.
A lot. 90s, classic rock, country. I love Eddie Vedder's soundtrack
to Into the Wild. One time I worked at ACL. It was awesome.
The walking dead, game of thrones, how I met your mother, the daily
show, South Park
Forrest Gump, pulp fiction, this list goes on. I love good movies.
I hate bad movies though. Funny how that works.
Anything grilled on a sunny day with friends on a back patio. Beer
The six things I could never do without
Family, exercise, good food, good books, good company and Big Bend.
On a typical Friday night I am
This Friday night? Working. Last Friday night? Eating homemade
pulled pork tacos and drinking beer at a friends house. The Friday
before that? Camping at Big Bend (before it shut down.)
You should message me if
You're idea of a good Friday night is not going to 6th street after
midnight. There's something inherently wrong with waiting in line
to get into a bar where you wait in a longer line to buy a 5 dollar
cheap beer in a place with shitty music playing so loud you have to
yell to hear half of what the person next to you is saying.
