I'm a pretty chilled out and happy person overall. I feel lucky to
have great friends, a good social life and finally a job that
doesn't feel like I'm wasting my time. I also have an overweight
cat and a house which I see as part blessing and part burden
(fucking DIY! why must everything break?). Anyway things are going
pretty sweetly, with the fairly important exception of my currently
much too uneventful love life.
Although pretty good in my own company and independent in general, I've never really enjoyed the single life that much. The freedom to have sex with different people doesn't really compare to starting and ending the day in bed with someone you love. (If that didn't make you cringe/be sick in your mouth then please read on.....actually read on anyway)
I tend to think and read a lot about the world and pretty much have an opinion about almost everything. I think that this is a good quality although some people might disagree. I try my best not to be a know it all prick anyway. I like spending time with people who have something to say too and quite enjoy a drunken argument (the good natured kind).
In my spare time I enjoy most of the normal good things such as eating out, eating in, live music, clubbing, the theatre (since very recently), boozing and such, cosy box-set watching, films, cooking. I also love to travel and just bought an extra weeks holiday from work so I can do a good trip this year. Leaning towards south-east Asia at the moment.
