My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was on hiatus from OKC for a while because I wasn't getting any responses. While my profile was off, I found myself working more and losing touch with other people and my hobbies all together. Basically, I was becoming a homebody and a hermit and do you know what that does to a social butterfly? Well, I'm back for another try at changing my status. It may take some time for me to update my photo(s), but I may not be on here long enough for that. So far it looks like the same life time members. It makes me seriously wonder if these people actually ever communicate with one another, or if they're just random photos of people linked to fake profiles. Although I've had brief conversations with a few good people from far away places. Anyway...

I am a proud father of 3, two girls and a son. Each are young adults with their own lives now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Avoiding the end of it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pressing any key to continue.

I'm really bad at
Online Social Networking (Facebook, Twitter,...) and creating and maintaining profiles on them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am actual size when appearing in person.

Okay, what I often hear is that I look so much younger than I really am. But, my age really isn't the first thing they notice. If we meet, you can introduce me to some people you know and ask them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like many of each of these with no particular favorites, however, I tend to lean toward specific genres of entertainment. Since this section essentially defines my interests, I believe it is where compatibility can first be measured.

Books - 📖 Fantasy Fiction, Sci-fi, and Technical Manuals [part of my job]. The most recent books I've read were from James Patterson's Maximum Ride Series.

Movies - 🎬 Psychological Suspense/Thrillers. I'm not really into gory horror movies; the acting and blood shed are usually so over the top that I get bored. I also like Action Films, but I'm a closet sap for heartfelt Dramas and Romantic Comedies. 'The Majestic' w/Jim Carrey is cool. I love that old swing time blues it has (Nat King Cole and Benny Goodman style of music). 'Just Like Heaven' was another favorite, as well as 'Pay it Forward'.

TV - 📺 I don't spend much time sitting in front of the TV, but when I do, I like Dos Equis ☺... I like Police, Medical dramas or Documentaries on Science, History, and Nature. My daughter has me hooked on Once Upon A Time, and Game of Thrones. I also recently watched all 8 seasons of Dexter as a marathon weekend event.
Live Performances - 🎭 I like Comedy, Concerts, Theater... I rarely get to go and don't like going alone.

Music - 🎸 It depends on my mood. Currently, only a few Country or Rap artists can be found in my collection. If I played my library straight through it would last more than 4 months. The bulk of my collection consists of various Rock formats... Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Grunge, Alternative, Indie, Metal, Pop, Oldies, etc. I was a sax player in my school band, so I am fond of horns in Rock, Jazz, and Classical music.

Food - 🍴 I'm willing to try whatever fits in my stomach and doesn't trigger my gag reflex on the way in.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A, E, I, O, U, and sometimes Y
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The random thoughts that pop into my head as memories, considerations, conclusions, revelations, or epiphanies. Mostly, I just live in the moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
... looking for something atypical to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I'm sorry. I had to edit this in lieu of my recent popularity:

A. have the courage to say or ask something and you are ready to start a new friendship. The willingness to meet in person is a plus, but let's not be hasty. I am sometimes leery of what makes strangers strange.

B. are not allegedly stranded in a foreign country looking for access to my bank account for your return home or to aid a sick relative. I don't mind paying for dinner, drinks, or a night out to get acquainted.

C. realize that 3 emails and 2 phone calls is not enough to make us a couple. I prefer to get to know someone a lot better than that before I recognize a difference between a burgeoning friendship and an exclusive romance; and yes we have to meet in person; no, that doesn't mean I'm looking for a casual quickie. I'm tired of being lumped in with that "All guys want..." category. What I want is a relationship that is based on both self and mutual respect.

D. care enough about yourself to maintain a healthy physique, and you've limited the amount of ink and metal added to your body. Quite frankly, I think tattoo ink makes the skin look feculent. I don't mind a few piercings, but if your number prevents you from passing through an airport terminal in a timely manner, I'd be worried they might also find the mule balloons.
