*These views are a result of a poll I took among my friends. The answers are in no way an actual list of first things people notice about me. Well, unless you like them. Then they're totally all true.
I read books from various genres and my favourite authors range from Neil Gaiman to Michael Crichton to John Grisham to David Eddings. I devour books extensively.
My taste in movies is not entirely pedestrian. I frequently enjoy mainstream movies but my travels on the Internet have led me into some interesting niches. Some of my favourite movies are Mr. Brooks, Saint John of Las Vegas, Soylent Green, Watchmen, The Wicker Man and No Country For Old Men. The Princess Bride is the only romantic comedy I have ever liked.
I love music. Who doesn't right? Again, I love listening to pretty diverse genres. If I had to pick a genre I'd have to say Rock. There is music I'd rather not listen to though. I'm not too big on new R&B or Hip-Hop.
Food. FOOOOOOOOOOD! I love all kinds of food except raw food and specifically Japanese raw food. Anything else is fine.
2. My Laptop (unless it gets replaced by an iPad or a PlayBook.)
3. My Phones
4. Spicy Food
5. Work! Can't stand being idle. It's too boring.
6. Clean toilets. Yes. Really.
at the moment I'm thinking about a paradox.
We know that the theory of relativity is e=mc2 right?
Where e=energy, m=mass and c=2xthespeedoflight.
Therefore, one must assume that it takes an incredible amount of energy to cause something to move at light speed.
Our second assumption is that as an object approaches light speed, time appears to slow down for it.
Now, the question is, if light is both a particle and a wave, then the particles of light, or photons, are traveling at the speed of light. Yes?
Therefore we now have to wonder, what kind of energy is capable of making a particle move at light speed, and also, if photons are moving at light speed, and time has stopped for them, then are photons really not moving around us because they're immobile in time and are we just moving around light?
If I am wrong, does this mean that the Theory of Relativity can only be applied to certain subjects and that it doesn't apply to all mass?
