Well, I guess I'm fairly easy-going, generally grounded, relatively confident, intelligent, self-aware, a little nerdy, globally aware, compassionate, open-minded, honest, and often irreverent. I would say I'm passionate (but I don't take myself too seriously) and I appreciate the beauty and sensuality of life. Love travel, adventures, and living through all my senses...

I'm tall, have lots of freckles (they migrate from the freckle farms on my back), and am very full-figured (big and beautiful...).

I find beauty in a cherry blossom tree, am at home on the ocean, and find peace amid a temperate rainforest.

While I have a successful and traditional career, I live my personal life on my terms. I would definitely not describe myself as traditional or conventional...make of that what you will...I value honesty, both with one's self, and with the world. This means living authentically and with integrity.

At the moment I'm interested in meeting people who are intelligent, creative, easy-going, authentic, compassionate, honest, adventurous, and thoughtful...

Living it...finding the balance between my work and my personal life...slowly filling my life with interesting, intelligent, wonderful people...

When not working, I travel, cook, read, write, meditate (well, try to...), and talk (politics, philosophy, religion/spirituality, sex, poverty, sexual orientation, living connected with the earth, kink, psychology, cultures, and education).

I spend time with close friends/family, contemplate "life, the universe and everything", learn new things, challenge myself, and connect with intelligent, self-aware, compassionate, adventurous people who might be able to challenge me to be more than I am...

I recently moved, and miss watching the sun rise with my morning coffee...

Not responding to I.M.s from strangers (I prefer messages).

Being a conduit for energy, seeing beyond the surface, communicating, forgiveness, being present...

And so much more...really. :) But you'll have to wait to find out what...or just ask...

Well, I'm often smiling, or laughing (usually because I see the absurd humour in most of life), and I've been told that I have a sultry voice...

I am a voracious reader, so my reading list is ever evolving....

Some of my past and current favoured authors of fiction with ideas that stretch our boundaries, or reflect a social awareness include Ursula Le Guin, William Gibson, Manda Scott, Paul Coelho, JRR Tolkien, Octavia Butler, Robert Heinlein, Anne Rice, Robert Pirsig, Richard Bach, and Eden Robinson....

Poets who inspire me include Gregory Scofield, Beth Brant, and Connie Fife....

Writers of transformative non-fiction include Stephen Lewis (Race Against Time), Thomas King, Naomi Klein, and Wade Davis...

As for the rest....I enjoy movies that challenge me to think, have an eclectic taste in music (so dependant on mood), and enjoy a quite a variety of foods (the best being fresh and simply prepared).

I'll go for nine....

A good book, moisturizer, my laptop, my passport, fresh ocean air, hot or cold showers (weather depending), intelligent conversation, intimacy, and people in my life to love...

And writing....it sustains me....guess that makes ten!

The importance of living life authentically...sensual kisses...what makes people act the way they do...how we are connected with the world around us...kink...why I have so many shoes...how powerful self-awareness can be...our enormous capacity to love...the sexiness of high boots....getting into mischief every once in a while... and lately, the power of love...:)

Either in Vancouver enjoying the delights of the city, or the company of a good friend or two...

Or leaving the city for a weekend of quiet relaxation and much needed quiet...

Hmmm...a kiss on the back of my neck sends shivers down my spine (in the best kind of way...), and the magic combination of intelligence, creativity, and compassion, in a person absolutely intoxicates me...

We'd have to get to know each other a little better to know any more... :)
