My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Joe. I'm an asshole, but don't worry. I'm the kind of asshole that gets along with most people most of the time. It's really just my sense of humor that highlights my asshole qualities. On that note, if sarcasm and cynical humor aren't for you, we may not be a match made in heaven. Speaking if which, the whole heaven and hell thing isn't really my cup of tea. If it is yours, that's not necessarily a deal breaker. I have my reasons and I'm perfectly ok with someone else having theirs. Just don't expect to successfully convince me of why I should believe what you do and I will return the favor.
Now, what separates me from most other assholes is that I am not full of shit. I do typically keep to my word and expect the same from others. Aside from that, I'm pretty light-hearted and very few things get under my skin.
I'm also a bit of a workaholic. I do enjoy the work I do and I often get sucked into working 50+ hours per week. Fortunately, I'm pretty tolerant of sleep deprivation which means I still find plenty of free time throughout the work week at the cost of sleep. Given the strange hours I keep and my lack of interest in the bar/club scene, I'm a bit of a homebody. I geek out a lot on Xbox Live with my brothers. We don't live close enough to regularly spend time together and it's kind of our family time, I suppose. You get major brownie points if you share this interest, but I do know when it's time to put down the sticks and do things in the real world.
I'm also a dreamer. Without the proper outlet, I tend to get lost in my thoughts. No one steals my heart more quickly than someone who can keep an intelligent conversation. I'm open to discuss a wide range of topics and I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. It would be great to meet someone with similar tendencies.
If you've made it this far and think we might get along, don't be shy. If nothing else, we might be able to alleviate some of the boredom that brought us here in the first place with some good old fashioned conversation.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in a lab that does a lot of sciencey stuff. This will hold me over until I begin researching immortality.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking conversations to that step above obscenity, performing miracles in the kitchen, passive learning, drawing and few other artsy/crafty type things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My spiderweb face tattoo. It stands out.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy books on science and technology. Especially those on topics such as aging, genetics, controversial science and the like. I'm also a fan of Dan Brown and Robin Cook to get in my fictional fix.

As for movies, there are way too many to list, but 300 is the greatest. I do keep up with The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy and I will always have a place in my heart for South Park and Family Guy.

Music: I tend to listen mostly to rock or metal, but I'm ok with most genres. I can tolerate country as long as I am making fun of it. In other words, I don't like it.

I will try any kind of food once and most things more than once.

I don't really deny or hide much anything. I'm willing to admit to anything I've done.
