I am fucking hilarious, classy, and handsome.

My Self-Summary

Currently dating fuschia920 thanks OKcupid.

Hello there, my name is Joe. I'm very into all forms of entertainment and art, I do a little bit of my own work in just about every media you could imagine. Humor and comedy are far and away the greatest arts as far as I'm concerned. I live to make others laugh.

I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of movies. I set up a 100" projector screen in my apartment so I can have a cinematic experience whenever I want, now all I need is a pimply kid to sell me overpriced Buncha Cruncha and I'll never need to visit a movie theater again.

I tend to be what has been described as an Unflappable Optimist (in the "I'm positive" sense not the literal "everything happens for a reason" sense). I will always find the golden lining, things always have a possibilty to get better. This tends to frustrate people around me who like to complain about a situtation.

I'm currently on my own in a apartment that is too big for myself in Tustin. It's a pretty new experience for me since I've always had roommates or a live-in girlfriend, I like it though.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working full-time in video game development. I'm currently taking a break from school so that I can fully realize the dreams I had as a 12 year old.
Little Joe Mag: When I grow up I want to make video games!

I'm training myself to be a better digital artist in all the programs that are out there. I'm also constantly learning, I'm not much for being taught but I have an insatiable desire to gather more knowledge.

I'm learning Guitar ever so slowly. I'm also refining my taste in beer (send a message if you'd like to discuss the differences between german and belgian brewers).

I’m really good at

making people laugh and just chatting with others. I'm good at explaining the abstract concepts of my life, work, and philosophies to others.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes and my sometimes goofy smile... or my glasses if I happen to be wearing them.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My all-time favorite book is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I enjoy most other sci-fi or humor books. So anyways, let's start a legit list: Flatland, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, iWoz, Candy Girl, World War Z, Year of Living Biblically, American Gods, Audacity of Hope (I love you Barack but this sucker was a little dry for me), Dune, Lucky Wander Boy, Masters of Doom, I, Robot, Stuff White People Like, Wired for War.
I also love graphic novels (big novel looking comic books) like the Sandman series, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, etc.

Movies are one of my biggest passions, my favorites include: Godfather, Clerks, Army of Darkness, Mallrats, Dogma, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Airplane, Lord The Rings, Goodfellas, Scarface, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Pirates of The Carribean, Se7en, Star Wars (4-6), History of the World Part I, Spaceballs, Producers, Back to the Future, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, SLC Punk, Tron, Back to The Future, Jurassic Park, Men In Black, Swingers, Amazon Women on the Moon

I have very broad tastes in music I love everything from standards like Frank Sinatra to punk, rock and techno. I'm not really into hip-hop or country.

Food, true to my background I love Italian Food. I also dig Chinese and Mexican. I can't stand curry though.

The six things I could never do without

1. Movies 2. Video Games 3. Comedy 4. The Internet 5. Friends 6. Food?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

If I'm making the right decisions, is what I'm saying funny or offensive, how can I better myself. I also think alot about where I ultimately want to end up in life (not just talking about careers).

Editors

On a typical Friday night I am

At the movie theatre or out shopping, maybe hanging out with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

If you play video games you definitely know the company I work for. If I like you/trust you enough I'll let you know.

I can be a little bit of a perv, not really a creepy sort of perv but I just have a slightly perverted mind.

I used to be a huge nerd, then I started to drift away from nerdy interests and started to become a cool person. As a result I really dislike a number of friends I gathered during my nerd days.

You should message me if

you have a good sense of humor. If you want to chat and have fun. If you don't take yourself or anything else too seriously.

If you don't care that I am allergic to down, for some reason I've noticed a lot of girls mention that they couldn't live without down comforters.

If a spontaneous trip to Disneyland sounds like your perfect day/date/whatever.

Also since I'm taken currently I'm only looking for new friends, because honestly, who couldn't use more friends?
