When I'm not using my alter-ego and saving the world as a superhero, I'm a pretty regular, laid back California dude. My dream career is to be a published author. I'm working on a crime thriller that could be classified as my first honest effort at writing a novel but in order to pay the bills, I work in the tech scene on the sales and customer support side of the biz. I was born in the Bay Area and enjoy hiking the splendid terrain here often. I used to be a musician (meaning I played in rock bands in high school and college) but since I didn't become a rock star I've resorted to just going to see concerts instead of participating in them. I'm a diehard Giants fan and am stoked the Warriors are finally great. Alas, I'm also a rehabbing 49er fan. Sports, music, travel, and nature are my thing. I'm looking to meet someone that is looking to share those experiences with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing, working, and living with a dose of binging the next biggest thing on Netflix. I travel abroad at least once or twice a year. It's always awesome to learn about life by experiencing different cultures.
I’m really good at
not taking things too seriously and realizing we only get one life. Don't sweat the little things and try to find the good in everything. Learn, improve, repeat. Life is too short to be petty or malicious.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I have a large network of friends. I'm what you'd call a connector. I was Facebook before Facebook existed. I've been told I'm very easy to get along with and that people feel comfortable with me instantly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: "This Book Will Save Your Life", "The Alchemist", "The Great Gatsby", and many others. I like to read.
Movies: "The Departed", "Gremlins", and most anything with Scarlett Johansson.
Shows: All the ones that everyone likes... Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Making A Murderer, Modern Family, Homeland, etc etc etc
Food: All Asian food (minus Korean).
Music: Rock, pop, old school rap.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family & Friends
4. Sports (mostly the Giants, ASU football, the Warriors, and I'm
seriously considering boycotting the Niners)
5. San Francisco
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Girls, the next great idea, life, and self-improvement.
On a typical Friday night I am
A friend once told me that we only have a finite amount of Friday nights (like 10,000 or so) and that we shouldn't waste them. That stuck with me. Suffice to say, I'm usually out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
1) You think I sound intriguing
2) You think I would find you intriguing
