My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a great big pretentious windbag, but I'm kind to animals and children. Trying mightily to be a better human being. Struggling for the answers to questions that probably have none. Always curious, though frequently impatient with myself and the world. Ridiculously prone to moments of hyperbolean emotionalism.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Stumbling through it in a thoroughly reckless and haphazard manner. Sometimes, in moments of self-delusion, I fancy myself to be an aspiring writer.

Took a big chance to fulfill my dreams. Traveled abroad to Paris last summer, and will possibly be off to Europe again soon for another brief stint--with some good luck, traveling abroad may be happening with more frequency; right now I'm focused upon turning myself into a professional writer. Also trying to become a better tango dancer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing, cooking, sharing arcane esoterica about massive quantities of trivialities--especially movies, railing against self-indulgence, engaging in self-indulgence, taking myself far too seriously, amateur cat management (temporarily retired from this), once upon a time fairly recently selling cheese (hopefully permanently retired from this!). And now, pretty damned good at writing narratives and dialogue!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The shine off my barren scalp. My inability to shut the fuck up.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good book.
Comfortable clothes.
Simple food.
My friendships.
My cat (Learning to live without, sadly.)
My doubts and questions.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My tired bloated ego and where I can chuck the damned thing. How weird and weirdly precious the small things in life are. Where and when will I find another good dance floor.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Movie-ing, then always dancing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hate flying. Gonna have to get used to a great deal of it soon though.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You can talk my ear off without boring me to tears. You're always in need of a good dance partner. You're curious, skeptical, occasionally self-deprecating, occasionally take yourself far too seriously, trying to find your way but not there yet.
