My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been told that I'm a nice guy to be around. I have a good sense of humor. I have a wonderful son. I'm a full-time graphic artist. I exercise three times a week. I really enjoy a good conversation. I like to ride my bike around White Rock Lake. I love Europe (have been three times, want to visit more). I can laugh at myself (and successfully supply a steady stream of material). I'm more spiritual than religious. I spent about seven years as a newspaper photographer at the beginning of my work career. I like to walk the Katy Trail. I floss daily. I love sharing a bottle of wine with someone special. I like olive oil. I need a better haircut. I wear boxers. I'm a Democrat. I don't have any tattoos. I rarely eat meat (though, I do occasionally eat a burger at Keller's Drive-In on NW Hwy.). I do freelance photography on the side, (say cheese!). I like flea markets. I like to cuddle. I give blood regularly, (I'm over four gallons). I like broccoli.

What I'm looking for in a partner is someone who wants to share honesty, openness, respect, fun times, busy times, challenging times, silliness, seriousness, the popcorn at a movie, a nice bottle of wine, the driving on a road trip. I think sharing the simple, basic things in life is how we can develop a true and successful relationship. I think chemistry plays a very important role in a relationship and it can certainly happen from the beginning, but I also believe it can develop and grow stronger over time. I'm open-minded and enjoy that trait in other people as well.

Hope to hear from you! Thanks.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spent the past three years staying very involved with my son and his high school activities (as a parent volunteer for band, soccer, etc.), but now that that time has come to a close (he's now a freshman at UT-Austin), I'm looking for new adventures, and someone to share them with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a friend.
Being a father.
Eating a healthy diet.
Maintaining an exercise schedule.
Being open-minded.
Being non-judgmental.
The first things people usually notice about me

-- I'm a bit of a news-junkie and read various online news sources throughout the day. (Sans FOX News.) I also read The New Yorker magazine.

-- I can enjoy most any movie playing at the Angelika, Magnolia or Inwood theaters. I subscribe to the idea that the best movies aren't always the blockbusters. I always watch, "It's a Wonderful Life" around the holidays (as well as "A Christmas Story") and I'll drag out "Casablanca" once a year or so.

-- Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, (yes, Breaking Bad), Frontline and for my British Comedy fix, Keeping up Appearances.

-- Jazz, classical, Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Coldplay, The Smiths, classic rock, indie. If it sound good, I'll listen to it.

-- I enjoy all different types of food, except fast food, junk food and of course, liver.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-- My son
-- Exercising
-- Water
-- Bathing
-- A nice glass of wine
-- One very strong cup of coffee every morning

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out and about, but if nothing specific is going on, I could be found sitting on my couch wondering why I'm sitting on my couch on a Friday night.
