I am a warm and compassionate man, at times both serious and silly. I am somewhat intellectual by nature, and love books, art, classical music and opera. I also enjoy seeing a silly movie and having a good laugh. I love my family and friends, and my profession (computational chemistry) but would like to find something more - a kindred soul to spend the rest of my life with.

My home currently is in Connecticut, but I am frequently in Atlanta. I would love to find a new friend in Atlanta that enjoys good food, art, and classical music. Would you like to go to the Atlanta Symphony with me?

I am kind, friendly, and curious

I've retired from many years in scientific software development and now have a second career as a professor at UConn. I enjoy working with students, helping them learn and seeing them succeed. I also enjoy the intellectual challenges of my academic research, elucidating a few of the mysteries of nature. It's still wonderful to learn something new.

Being a friend, figuring things out, and making a martini. I try to show compassion and understanding to everyone.
