I'm committed to hanging with people who take an optimistic view of life, who think that life is for enjoying.

I like my job, love my kids, and think the world has a lot to offer. Travel alot for work, and never cease to be amazed and intrigued with what you discover in the various parts of the world, both domestic and foreign.

I've learned that I'm really looking for a close, meaningful relationship. I think every day (really, every day!) of how blessed and fortunate I am. And while I think one can have a great life without a partner, for me, having an intimate, deep, emotionally engaged relationship with someone special would make it more wonderful. So while I'll happily go do fun things and embark on wild adventures, since you never know when you'll make a connection, that's what I'm ultimately looking for.

Working hard with a great team of 30 at a software company founded in 2007. While we're all about much more than our job, I do very much enjoy what I do. But I'm also focused these days on taking more time to relax, meeting new people, seeing new things, and enjoying life. I've been successful in business, but I'm equally committed to focusing on the non-business side. And I'm enjoying it!

Analyzing problems and figuring out a creative solution. I never give up. Never.

Books: on my nightstand - Steve Jobs' bio and The Seven Levels of Intimacy. Just finished Joseph Campbell's The Hero With a Thousand Faces and Coelho's Aleph (an unusual read for me). Yes, quite an assortment! Recent reads include Little Bee, Outliers/Blink, Call Me Ted, Next, Daniel Pink's Drive (trying to follow this approach at work, but it's hard). Next to add to my nightstand is Mark Twain's autobiography.

Music: Like current stuff, but I do seem to end up spending a lot of time listening to Channel 8 on XM while in the car.

Food: Practically anything. Really like to try new foods, experience new tastes. Travel a bit for business and pleasure and like to eat locally when traveling.

A whole bunch of things -in no particular order - how to guide my kids (the youngest still in high school) to grow up to be happy, fulfilled, responsible adults, how to find a partner for the rest of my days, the best ideas to continue to grow our business, where to go, domestically and internationally, for new adventures.

I can get teary-eyed at emotional heart-tugging movies. It's good to make an emotional connection with people, I'm just not sure its great to do it while watching a film. Oh well.
