My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a father a friend and a carpenter. I try to be myself and always let the moment teach me about who i am , who I'm with or what I am doing or more about myself, whether its playtime work time or whatever. I like to try new things but also like the comfort of familiarity.
I moved onto a small farm in March and have spent the summer and fall working for a contractor in Gill and growing and harvesting food that we will eat year round and really learning about local food, local economy and (now with all the OWS awareness) how my actions affect our world.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Someday I would like to finish my degree and pursue a career as a teacher or designer or architect or some other aspect of building, preferably green building. But opening a year round ice cream stand somewhere fun sounds great too!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
playing, having fun, enjoying people's company, sounds corny but I do and it comes easy with the right people.
The first things people usually notice about me

(I should update this more often...) Early winter reading: 'Breath by Breath' on insight meditation. 'Hero with a Thousand Faces' Joeseph Campbell. Trying to squeeze Thoreau's 'Walden' when i can...

I just finished (Dec 2010) 'Illusions, stories of a reluctant messiah' refreshing acknowledgment of other recent books but lighter at times.
Anne Rice's Memnoch, the Devil as a reread from way back. I wish I was more impressed, I liked it but wanted more. I'm reading a quite a bit on spirituality and awareness and presence. Its really struck a solid chord and I am finding these in many common themes through out my life and interactions with others.
I think I have 3 books I am currently grazing... focusing mostly on 'Ceremony' by Leslie Marmon Silko. I have Joseph Campbell's 'Hero with a thousand faces' close by but its very intimidating... ask me if you'd like!
I really enjoy drumming and dancing, I don't do it as often as I would like, but time spent is time enjoyed!
I'm a big fan of Tool, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grateful Dead, Sublime, Rolling Stones and many more and they all have their own reasons... I'd love to tell you all about it! ***Tool show end of January!!!!***
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my daughter
my friends
seeing beauty in things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
life and love, balancing them with work and such. in doing so i actually spend a lot of time trying not to think of anything
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Coming up with something fun to do last minute or chillin with my six year old... tons of fun!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have the potential to eat an entire pizza by myself. Actually if the food is really yummy, I have the potential to eat myself into a spell of rolling around on the floor or the couch moaning with my pants unbuttoned... but it usually passes in a timely fashion...
