My names John. I recently moved here from New York. I am from Texas originally but have lived the last 4 1/2 years in NYC. I like to party but I am really driven. I love anthropology, fashion, and fashion theory (not the shallow parts really) and I want to change the way people think about clothes. I currently work trying to convince one of the largest American retailers to move forward. I work in Plano but live in Dallas. I also design costumes for Peaches, the singer. I also enjoy a ridiculous variety of music, riding my bike, running (used to be a swimmer for 8 years( quit after HS), having fun, etc etc..... blah blah blah. I can be very cynical and very optimistic at the same time. I can be akward.

I think everyone should try and do what they are both good at and love doing first and foremost. I think that's what will eventually bring success to people. Too many guys want to be models, make daddy happy, or club kids, or be famous for not doing anything (or doing very little). I am always doing and I don't know if I understand those that just want to consume and not produce. I admire the people who work hard to give back to the world. I wish I could be a doctor, or a scientist, or some sort of brilliant economist but I was not given those talents so I design because that's what I am good at. Hopefully I'll be able to give back to the world through that somehow, if not through the clothing itself then through philanthropic ventures. I don't believe in this American hierarchy of people. A brick layer and a brain surgeon are just as important to society as the other. We need both in order to function in a civilized society, one just takes a lot less training than the other.

I am really driven and sometimes people don't like this.

I do like to party hard every now and then.

Moving forward.... fast..... I got a really great job, and its really easy, and I get to do great projects on the side, I don't know why I'm not happier about it all though.. My love life however has been crap. I don't know, I just am not into hook ups. I am the guy you take home to mom even if she hates the gays, she'll love me.
