I am in the
sciences and so yes I am a nerd but I
have always had better communication skills than other nerds. I
love to talk with
philosophy majors because they
understand the way I think. I convince myself I like video games
but then don't have the patience for them and usually cant play
them again after I beat them. I like reading and talking about what
I've read. I am pretty ambitious but I refuse to make my career the
highest priority in my life (I am so very against that). I know
this sounds bad but feed me and I will be rendered powerless. "The
key to a man's heart is through his stomach" applies to me (I am
Italian although I reject most all of those silly traditions and
sayings and what not).
I just graduated and now I am looking for a better job in the
science research field. I would like to travel a bit some time soon
and learn a new language. Otherwise I am trying to get back into
the things I didn't have time to do before. Things like reading
casually, using the gym more often, I might take up muay tai.
Problem solving, fixing things, being understanding...
I didn't want to do this cause I really dislike when people
self-proclaim themselves good at anything. Like: "I am a really
good judge of character." Yea, my ass you are!!!!
Everybody always comes up to me after they have known me for a
while and tells me that they thought I was a dumb pot head when
they first met me and that they were surprised to find out
otherwise.
I love a lot of this stuff but I'll mention some.
Books: Kafka was the Rage is my
favorite, The age of Innocence has the best ending, The Catcher in
the Rye was good. I have recently finished Sinclair's The Jungle,
Camus' The Stranger and I am working on Robinson's Look me in the
Eye.
Movies:
Actually scary horror movies, rarely comedies, action movies are
cool to waste time, My favorite is a real smart movie because I
hate when I can guess the ending at the beginning of the movie.
Some of my favorites are Saving Private Ryan, The Lives of Others,
Philadelphia, and so many more.
Food: I love trying different foods and
that is one of the greatest things about NYC.

I just can't think of anything else...
Everything...
Hanging out, or staying in. I actually will have periods that I
will go out every night of every weekend for like 3 straight weeks
and then not go out for a month after that. I think I like staying
in better!?!?
You have the same interests or want to find out if you do. I really
like to meet new people so don't hesitate.
