I live a simple life exploring our world, laughing, and learning. In the Summer I work and live on Mount Rainier. In the Winter I am cold. My profession leaves me perpetually dirty. When I am clean I wear a tie.

In my world: learning never ends, unoccupied stop signs are ignored and true sustainability is unattainable. The God's made beer and they saw that is was good.

I'm a craftsman and I love every minute of it. Six months out of the year I build trails on Mount Rainier and during the other six months I'm an arborist, a carpenter and a hobbyist. I swing dance, brew beer/wine/mead, play games and spend days in the rain. I bicycle far too often and I love the smell of the sea. Dead animals intrigue me and I enjoy taxidermy. I wish I owned a very small area of our Earth and could spent 80 hours a week working my land. Animals, hops and berries and I'm set.

Chess anyone? I'm always looking for someone to play chess with. All day. Every day.

Staying busy. Chess. Building all sorts of things. Covering myself in sawdust and gasoline. Listening. Working with dead animals. Biking way too fast. Pushing my body a bit too far. Cooking and then eating delicious food. Thinking and sharing my thoughts. Being observant. Chainsaws. Blowing things up. Singing in my mini truck. Farming.

My jovial personality or my beard. Maybe that I'm covered in soil.

Kakfa. Sword of Truth. LoTR. The Elementary Particle by Michel H. is my favorite story ever. Also The Voyage to Arcturus by David Lindsay. That and Picture of Dorian Gray. And 1984. I read everyday and sometimes all day. My favorite stories are dreamlike, mysterious.

Black Metal and Blue Grass. I listen to Metal in all its many, many varieties. Nick Cave and Duran Duran, too.

I love to cook and brew and eat. Fine food and drink are my indulgences. Though, on a more daily basis, my diet consists of coffee, lager, sugar and salt n that order.

Sunlight, calories, Metal, people to entertain, amazing food and the unknown!
