My name is Johnny and I just recently moved to the Milwaukee area
from Cleveland. I've been between here and Denver since I got here
due to work, installing, programming, and problem solving geeky
stuff, but my place is here and I am looking for friends or
potentially something more if there is that spark. I am a bonsai
artist and I sometimes teach classes at the Chicago Botanical
Gardens. My grandpa dedicated his life to it and I love to spread
the art he loved so much. If you are looking for a partner for the
club scene then I'm not for you because I am very burnt out on it.
I like to go out, but to a play or a museum. I love to stay in to a
good movie, game, or conversation. I'm looking for someone who is
open and has a wide perspective on life. If one isn't an open book,
who can enjoy what they are reading? So if you want to know
anything else just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I am working and going to college. The end goal is to end
up counseling children, probably in a school type setting. Not
enough people pay attention to what is really going on. I don't
want any kids to have to shoulder problems by themselves. They
should know someone is there for them and will understand them
without judgement. An understanding conversation can be the
difference between greatness and tragedy.
I’m really good at
I love to write and I think it really is becoming a lost art in the
age of LoLs. I am extremely gifted at most things electronic.
Cuddling. I was on the 1996 Olympic Cuddling Team. I was expected
to take the gold in the Marathon Cuddle, but then they discovered
half the league was on cuddling enhancement drugs and shut the
whole thing down.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically I get comments about my eyes or how black my hair is
compared to this vampire-like Irish skin. I just don't tan.
Mentally I'd say wit or humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- Any interesting biography or history book, usually
pertaining to ancient Greece. Currently though I am towards the end
of the Bhagavad Gita.
Movies- Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, a good superhero or scifi
movie. I know, I know, the books were better of the first two they
say, but I usually read non-fiction.
Shows- Dexter, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl, Supernatural,
Nashville, Master Chef, The Colbert Report, SCANDAL
Music- Most things, so what I dislike are screaming type music and
trashy pop (talkin to you Lil Wayne and Biebs....)
Food- Asian is probably my favorite. I dont eat gluten or dairy and
have always loved Asian food best anyways (which is easy to do with
no gluten or dairy thankfully)
The six things I could never do without
Family ( I consider my friends family ), Nature, Exercise,
Stimulating conversation, Music, Hope (because otherwise what's the
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Humanity, technology, and how the universe works. I don't get how
people can be so closed off and not ever consider the bigger
On a typical Friday night I am
At the gym, reading, or hanging with friends (usually at a home
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I get misty during this scene still- Dumbledore: "After all this
time?" Snape: "Always."
You should message me if
If it baffles you that there will be an "Expendables 3" movie
before "The Incredibles 2"... Or you know, other stuff...
