Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well ... It looks like it's about time for me to give this profile
a bit of a facelift! I'm hoping that in doing so, it may bring a
little more luck in the online dating world.
Ultimately, I'm looking for someone who is as comfortable out on
the town, grabbing drinks, dinner, going to a concert or show as he
is staying in and cooking dinner together before we curl up and
enjoy a movie or a night of tv!
If I had to choose one word to best describe myself, I would have
to say it would be dedicated. I'm dedicated to my family first and
foremost. They are the core of my life and I hope to find someone
who shares the same family values. I am also equally dedicated to
my close-knit group of friends from high school, college and work.
I try to keep in touch with those friends as frequently as our
schedules may allow! I am also dedicated to my work, but have
managed to allow myself to get away from it to help to work towards
finding that special someone to share my life with! And lastly, I
am ready to be dedicated to Mr. Right once he comes across my
profile here (or maybe we'll just bump into one another at the
grocery store ... Highly unlikely, but a boy can still dream,
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently working Retail as a store manager. I have a bit of a
love/hate relationship with the public! Anyone who has ever worked
in retail will understand that sentiment. Every day is a different
adventure and I truly enjoy getting to see a variety of faces enter
my store and get to know each of their stories and what's going on
in their lives!
Ultimately, I would love to either work as a visual merchandiser or
switch things up completely and become an event
planner/coordinator. We'll see where life takes me in the coming
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good at finding and testing out new recipes (primarily baking,
but occasionally I spice it up and add a new meal choice into the
mix). I am also good at getting to know people pretty quickly and
understanding who they are and what they are looking for ...
Usually this tends to work better in my work life than it does in
my personal life ;). I also think I'm very inest and straight
forward ... Almost to a fault. I try not to sugar coat how I'm
feeling, unless i think it might hurt someone's feelings ... Then
I'll be a bit more cautious with my words!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hope it's my smile! Although usually I have people telling me
that I look or sound just like someone they know ... So apparently
there are several clones of me running around this earth. Hopefully
I'll get the chance to meet them ... And let's hope they do me
justice ... I don't want to be compared to sub par versions of me
;). Also, people also tend to notice my watch(es). it's not that I
have expensive taste in watches, but I like t have a variety to
change it up throughout the week!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I unfortunately don't get to dedicate too much time to
reading, but here are some of my favorites ... Harry Potter Series,
The Hunger Games, pretty much anything by Mitch Albom. But don't
get me wrong, I'm always open to suggestions for a good book to
Movies - My all time favorite has to be Forest Gump! But, after
that, I also enjoy all the Harry Potter movies (shocking, I know),
Love Actually, 50 First Dates, Anchorman, What About bob, Office
Space ... Just to name a few!
Tv - Although I've been terribly this season with keeping up with
different series, here are some of my go to shows ... Bones, Glee,
New Girl, Biggest Loser, Modern Family. And then, I can sucked into
watching almost anything you might find on the Food Network, HGTV
or TLC (the trashy reality stuff gets me every time! ;))
Food - Here's where I become a bit more selective! I enjoy the
following types of food the most ... Pub food, Italian, Chinese,
Mexican. Although I consider myself to be a bit of a picky eater, I
am always open to new suggestions of places to try!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I cound never live without: 1. my family, 2. my friends, 3. my
iPod,4. my lap top, 5. my wardrobe(I have a slight obsession w/
buying new clothes), 6. Starbucks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what my next move with my career will be. I can't decide what I
would want to do if I were to try something new. I frequently think
about what I think I'd be good at and also talk to my friends and
family members quite often about what they think I should do with
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
frequently I'll be working ... if not, going out with friends for a
drink and catching up on the goings on from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I actually like to go out and dance ... I know few guys actually
enjoy to dance, but I love to go out and have some great music
playing and do my best not to make a complete fool out of myself!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are looking for someone to get to know, whether it be for
friendship or possibly more. I can't say that I've dated all that
much, but would definitely like to start working more on my
personal life, versus my work life. I've spent the past 6 yrs
working on my professional life and I think it's about time I take
some time out for myself for once.
