I seem to be the only Seattle-native who dislikes coffee. Adventurous in some ways and a home-body in others.

I have made a lot of changes to my life in the last few years as I am moving towards a more spiritual and healthy life. One result of this: I lost 70 pounds over the last 3+ years and intend to lose a lot more. Please understand that I have always been comfortable with and in my body and I did not lose the weight to be thin. (I have neither the genetics nor the desire to be skinny.)

I believe in having big dreams. I want to constantly learn from experiences and the world around me. (And many other fuzzy and undefinable concepts.)

I try to surround myself with folks who are smart, who challenge me to do my best, who call me on my bullshit. And especially with people who know they are sexy, people who know I'm sexy, people who can make decisions. People who are interested in self-examination and/or improvement.

I am a drama-free zone. I am happy to be around people who use drugs/alchohol lightly. Or who are sober. I don't have time for users. My heaviest drug is chocolate.

Staying on top of my mortgage. Running my business. Reengaging my sense of wonder. Learning to believe in the supernatural and deities after 25 years as a confirmed rationalist.

Actively looking for an _available_ man who is seriously interested in a poly relationship.

Sex. I know that sounds cocky (pun intended) but really. I have given the subject of sex a great deal of study and um, practical learning.

Cooking. I am a great cook! Cooking and entertaining are a big part of my social life. I am a foodie. Over the last few years I have learned to eat healthy and eat out a lot less.

Friendship. I am a good friend. I am very loyal and good at helping out when needed and stepping away when I'm not. I'm a good listener.

I enjoy Japanese anime, science fiction & foreign movies. My all time favorite movie is The Secret of Roan Innish directed by John Sayles.

I like most music (no country/western or head-banging please) but especially Celtic music and reggae. I just discovered the Canadian group Great Big Sea and am completely in love with them. I like local bands like Gaia Consort and Pint and Dale.

I read a lot of science fiction, my favorites are Bruce Sterling and Ursula LeGuin. But I also read non-fiction, mysteries, classical fiction, you name it. Also smut or erotica if you like the polite term.

I loved baseball as a kid, watching games on TV or going to the ballpark. I have started to get back into it recently and I would love to have someone to go to Seattle Mariners games with.

My favorite food to eat out is sushi or Italian. As a great cook I love to entertain whenever I can.
