EDIT: It seems like a lot people interpret that to mean that all I'm looking for are casual hookups. But if you look below, you'll see that what I'm really looking for are interesting people to have fascinating conversations with. Sex is not my primary motivator here.

I work as a programmer making cool software. I went to grad school for philosophy, and this is where I ended up. So all those jokes about humanities majors only getting fast food jobs: NOT TRUE

I've also been teaching philosophy for 5 or 6 years, although I'm currently on hiatus until I have more free time to do so. You can find my ratemyprofessor profile without much trouble (I teach at Wayne State). You'll see that students like me, think I'm a dork, but have not yet given me a "chili pepper". So I'm a good teacher, but not quite hot enough for them. One person writes that "if you have a thing for kind of dorky guys as I do, you will develop a crush". Wow, thanks!

Another thing I do for money is perform wedding ceremonies. I was ordained as an officiant by the Church of Spiritual Humanism. I've done almost 10 weddings so far, and I really like being part of the happiest day of many people's lives. If you want to hire me after OKC works for you, just send me a message!

On Tuesdays, I bowl on a league, but I'm not very good. I think my average is about 105.
