Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"I am a man. Nothing human is alien to me" Terrence.
OK. So I am about to "age out" Will be 59 the end of this
I don't look for any thing serious. So I don't get much interest.
That's OK too.
Not perfect. Not rich. Like sex, but not loose. Mature. At last.
But a little bit "Old enough to know better, but too young to
care". and yet...
Never want to "retire". Too pragmatic to see "travel" as an option
Kind of...a minimalist at heart and in reality. What ever that is.
Well., I know what being a minimalist is...and that is my reality.
Such is life eh?
Don"t bull shit. Won't bullshit. Never have.
Would prefer to talk here first. Not big on talking on the phone
till I am interested.
Thank You for Your consideration.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Closing in a show this weekend in Tullahoma. Ready for a break from
the stage. Too much of a good thing is still too much.
Ready to read something just for fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Theater. Love to be on stage. Good at my job. (I print newspapers)
Listening. "seek first to understand. then to be understood" Pretty
good at growing flowers, and making arrangements.
Looking forward to spring. I've had some EXTREMELY hearty plants.
Want to see how they do. And put some seed into the warming earth.
See how they do.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Vanity was not encouraged in my upbringing. That being said.
Many people have asked me if I have "ever been told" , ... "You
look like Harrison Ford"? Often these comments have come after
shows, in the reception line, I dont know what t' say. Besides
''TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS''!! or ''HEY EVERYONE! I WANT YOU TO MEET
MY NEW BEST FRIEND". its fun to hear.
I like pretty women. I DO think it can be obvious.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The best book I have ever read is Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry.
I also like everything I have read by Elmore Leonard. I loved the
Dark Tower Series by Steven King. I really enjoy reading Kurt
Vonnegut (and Kilgore Trout) A book pretty much has to reach out
and "grab me" for me to finish it.
The movies I have enjoyed go all the way back to Billy Jack,
Lonesome Dove was superbly adapted as a mini series. I loved Saving
Private Ryan. Brave Heart was really good. Legend Of The Falls was
excellant. The new True Grit was great.
Musically its pretty much Rock n Roll for me. But I like Willie
Nelson, and Patsy Cline too. Blue grass is fun sometimes...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My wheels. My little car, and my ragged old truck
My job. (work is very important to me)
My work boots.
My relationship with God, as rocky as it has been...well...rocky
for me, I think God's been ok throughout.
My work in theater
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Living in the moment. "NOW" is the only time we have.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Home alone. Reading or watching tv. If I am in a show, I may be at
rehearsal or having an "opening night!"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I keep my private life private
