My Self-Summary

I am a vocal major at the conservatory of music... translation: I wanna sing opera for a living (people do this for a living believe it or not). Originally I was born in Alaska (yes I have fished on boats, and know the fisherman on the deadliest catch). However I was mostly raised in Seattle, and by Seattle i don't mean Tacoma, or Spokanne i mean 206/98177. I am pursuing my first year of my masters, and have been living in San Francisco for almost 5 years. I love Wes Anderson.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in school, singing opera, taking voice lessons, preparing recitals, teaching sometimes, trying (and failing miserably) to learn French, German , and Italian. I love the great outdoors, I love to travel! I wish I could just win the lottery so I could travel and eat good food for the rest of my life. I like to swim in the ocean, hike, camp, enjoy all the natural beauties of this state i.e. the amazing awesomeness of the coast highway.

I’m really good at

I'd like to think I'm good at making people laugh but I feel ridiculous even writing that. I hope I'm halfway decent at singing. I guess I'm fairly adept at self-deprecation (i had to look "deprecation" up on dictionary.com... so I'm obviously not "adept" at spelling). I'm good at reading people sometimes, and surfing the internet i.e. google-ing.

The first things people usually notice about me

Depends on what i'm wearing. I really don't know, people compliment my eyes, whether thats just a comfortable pick-up line or something people notice first, i'm not sure. You tell me I guess.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything by Salinger, most things by Steinbeck, Ayn Rand, Tolstoy's a genius but i'm not smart enough to totally appreciate him. Mozart's letters, memoire's of an ex-prom queen, Jane Austen, and Jane Eyre.

Movies: Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Scorcese, Godfather, Training Day, Wizard of Oz, Felini's casa nova, amelie and much much more.

Food: Whole foods, fresh good food, but i'm down for fast food, and good dives, i'll try anything once.

Music... Anything from bosa nova, to ganster rap, to opera.
