My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a really easy going but hardworking guy looking for someone who is the same.

I just moved here from Baltimore, MD as of Sept 1st, 2013!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a degree in Acting and pursuing professional theatre work is my true passion. I actually turned down a new position at my job in Baltimore so I can follow this dream more fully and couldn't be happier about my choice.

I have a steady job as a DJ/Emcee and am in the process of picking up a second job serving/bartending for some extra cash (plus I get bored easily - can't sit around the house too long unless it's for a Netflix binge). Outside of that I'll be auditioning to hopefully turn my dreams into reality.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
reading people. I'm known for having a good knack for figuring out good advice to give everyone I know when it comes to their lives and relationships. Now if only I could do the same for myself...

I would say I'm decent at some things, but wouldn't go so far to say "really good." I sing, play piano, and am a viciously goofy drunk - although the third doesn't happen too often
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People who don't really know me tend to say "get that boy a cheeseburger!" Then they get to know me and realize I have a tendency to be a human garbage disposal, so there seems to be a disconnect there.

I've recently starting going to the gym and had a personal trainer for a few months so I can create a workout program for when I move. Friends who haven't seen me in awhile have commented that I actually have some definition now vs my old scrawny self so, progress?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read a lot of plays - some favorite playwrights include Samuel Beckett, David Mamet, Tony Kushner, and John Patrick Shanley.
I don't get much time to read much else but as long as a book entices my imagination, I'm into it. I was really into the Chronicles of Narnia and Redwall growing up if that's worth anything.

Movies: Love good/bad horror movies. As well as a story is well told and well acted, I'm a fan. Favorite movie of all time is and will always be Nightmare Before Christmas.

TV: I like to watch full series from start to finish which stops me from getting into a lot of shows until they are off the air. Past social life destroyers on Netflix have included: Lost, Ally McBeal, Battlestar Galactica, pretty much every Joss Whedon series on there, and 30 Rock. There are others that I'm definitely embarrassed to admit.

Music: Waaayyy too many to name. I lean towards pop-rock but enjoy a really eclectic taste in music. My itunes will shuffle from Maroon 5 to Kate Nash to a musical to The Avett Brothers to Eminem to... well you get the idea.

Food: See above human garbage disposal description
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Of course in no particular order:
4)Food - are we catching the trend yet?
5)My computer - I'm a little more obsessed with the internet than I'd like to admit.
6)A sense of humor - If we can't laugh at ourselves, there is no hope for any of us.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
boys, boys, all types of boys... and apparently Missy Elliot
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing whatever you're doing
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a bit of a closeted video game nerd.. ssshhh don't tell

you're interested in friendship or just need to bounce your latest plan for world domination off on someone. Or if you want to become a power couple - that's good for me too.

Sometimes I'm terrible at responding so don't take it personally but I love to meet new people so hit me up. I enjoy people who are ambitious, sociable, and sensitive to other people's needs.

It recently came to my attention that I respond to messages very selectively. I've concluded it's because of one of the following:
1) You're actually really creepy and I'm slightly afraid for my safety if I spark a conversation with you
2) You could be interesting but your lack of an ability to personalize our conversation by simply saying "hey, whats up?" is a total turn off
3) I'm actually interested but completely forgot to respond to you and feel weird now that a week or more has passed.

If it's reason 3 I apologize. If it's reason 1 or 2 I also apologize, but for different reasons that have to do more with you than me.
