I am laid back, sarcastic, and witty.
My Self-Summary
I grew up around Pittsburgh, went to college around here (Penn
State not Pitt, sorry), and am working on my masters degree now
(Pitt not Penn State, sorry).
Moved to Shadyside a little while back. Still trying to figured out
what to put on the walls. That's a lot harder than I thought it was
going to be. I have managed to find a few cool things to put on the
walls. I'm thinking about just taking random pictures and seeing
how that works out.
I wish I carried my camera around more often.
I got an ipod not too long ago. I never really wanted one but they
gave me one when I got my computer. So now it's like walking around
with a soundtrack or some weird montage.
I don't know why but seeing squirrels in the city always amazes
me.
Running low on Pringles reminds me that I need to go grocery
shopping. I can have an fridge full of condiments and not even
enough ingredients for a PB&J and be just fine. For some reason
I don't think about grocery shopping until that can starts running
low.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for UPMC and I'm working on my master's degree at
Pitt.
Otherwise just living the dream...
I’m really good at
All sorts of stuff, juggling, lying about being able to juggle,
being a horrible dancer, making myself laugh (hopefully those
around me too), making others smile, finding good places to eat.
The first things people usually notice about me
My dry humor and sarcasm.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like anything by Crichton, Palahniuk, William Christopher Baer,
Chabon, and so many others.
I refuse to read anything by Clancy or any of Grafton books, there
are a few other big names I don't really want to read too. Some of
my favorite books are debut novels.
Movies... well I have a wide range of favorites, Gran Torino,
Chasing Amy, Big Daddy.
Music, I like just about anything right now. Really like country
and rock right now though.
TV... It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, 30 Rock,
Community, The Daily Show.
I am yet to find a bad food. Well that's a lie, really. I like Thai
and Mexican food a lot. I'm really open to trying new things. I'm
not a vegetarian but I really like tofu.
You can never go wrong with Sunday brunch. Never.
The six things I could never do without
-Coffee (actually that could be the first three on this list)
-My tattoos (they're kinda permanent)
-My library card
-Redbox
-My cats
-Fall weather
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I've been and where I'm heading.
My next tattoos.
Animal cruelty. Especially now that I'm in the city.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having fun one way or another. Going out, enjoying a drink with
friends or staying in and watching a movie or playing the Wii. I'm
flexible like that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I actually read the Twilight series. And I liked it. In my defense
though Amazon thought I would like it and it was before it got real
big. Damn the Amazon, but either way it was a good couple of books.
You should message me if
you like anything you see here or want to find out more about me.
