Books - My love for books has returned. I've been burning
through books for the last couple of months. It's great. Cormac
McCarthy (The Road and No Country for Old Men two of my favorites),
Chuck Palahniuk (Choke and Rant are my faves), Richard Matheson (I
Am Legend), Kurt Vonnegut (Look at the Birdie, a series of short
stories that are just fantastic) are some of my favorite authors.
I'm all about fascinating reads, no matter what the genre. I'm onto
Movies - I really enjoy movies that make me think, even if
the thought that crosses my mind is...god, this is awful. I hold a
special place in my heart for zombie movies. Zombieland and Shaun
of the Dead tie for new age, zombie-comedy type movie and Night of
the Living Dead for classic zombie movie. When I was a kid, I
watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off...all the time. West Side Story
from 1961 is also a movie that's so great in its production that it
can go on the list. Tron (new and old), Drive, No Country for Old
Men, Amadeus (really though, it's enthralling to watch Mozart's
life), A Clockwork Orange and Ghostbusters. Yes. Ghostbusters.
Childhood favorite, how could I leave it off the shortlist.
Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Christopher Nolan Batman series was good,
the Star Trek reboots, Inception, Django, The Place Beyond the
Pines, The Departed, The Princess Bride(!)
Shows - Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead, Parks
and Rec. I haven't owned a TV in 4 years and I don't plan on
changing that anytime soon. The world's too interesting for
Music - It's what I live and breathe everyday.
indie-classical-hip hop-jazz-funk-rock-20th century-baroque-and so
on and so on. It's something I appreciate greatly. I really feel
that music has a way of affecting people, no matter what it is.
Sometimes I hear something and maybe it's pop or on the radio or in
passing or in a movie, but there might be just one thing that makes
me think, "wow that's really cool," and that's what I love about
music. There's so much to take from it. It's situational, it's
ambient, it makes the moment the moment, it adds life to whatever
BADBADNOTGOOD, Tigran Hamasyan, Thom Yorke (solo Thom Yorke), ELO,

and Rage Against The Machine.
Food - mmmmm. Breakfast is my favorite meal. I really enjoy
trying new foods/restaurants. (See above, that statement is
absolutely not true)
