My Self-Summary
I like to think of myself as funny, interesting, and lively, but you may think otherwise.
Traveling is something I want to do more of, I've only been to a few states and out of the country a few times, but I want more! I really enjoy going on random trips around the Bay Area with my friends; we always seem to find a new place to explore.
I probably enjoy cuddling a lot more than I should, but I don't get to as often as I would like. :/
I enjoy riding my roadbike, it's kind of cheap, but gets the job done. I really enjoy going to concerts of any kind; I've seen some interesting bands including a Persian electro/world band, a Japanese metal band, and a Japanese alternative band. If I have the money to spare I will attend a concert simply for the enjoyment of the music. I also enjoy being around the company of friends and meeting new interesting people.
I've been told that I am mature for my age, but I can't say that I am (all the time). People also say that I can be pretty blunt or as someone put it, "soulless". I just state things as I see them.
Recently I've discovered that I am starting to enjoy the outdoors more than once though, spending two summers in the Yosemite Valley has shown me the beauty of nature. I'd like to start hiking and backpacking more, but it will have to wait until I have more time and money on my hands.
What I’m doing with my life
I've always been interested in French so I might take a little longer in school to minor in it. It may come in handy, may not, but I really enjoy the language.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I don't have a particular favorite book, but I like to read what I find interesting, which can vary. And I don't hold myself to one genre or particular author. Recommend me something, I'll add it to my list of books to read, if it sounds interesting enough.
Movies:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Hedwig And The Angry Inch, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Milk, C.R.A.Z.Y., V for Vendetta, Horton Hears a Who, Amélie, I Am Sam, The Fifth Element, Watchmen, any of Eddie Izzard's stand up shows, Pulp Fiction, Gattaca, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Aladdin, and most Disney movies. I also enjoy watching cheap/lame horror movies with friends. =p
Music:
Dir en grey, VAST, Muse, System of A Down, Infidel Inc., Nine Inch Nails, She Wants Revenge, Empire of the Sun, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queen, Queens of the Stong Age, Bob Marley, Goose, Versailles, Malice Mizer, Beirut, Mika, Tarkan, Azam Ali, Niyaz, Santogold, Sam Sparro, Imogen Heap, The Retrosic, M.I.A., MGMT, Pnau, Calvin Harris, Kyo, MUCC, D'espairsRay, Mindless Self Indulgence, Franz Ferdinand, Daft Punk, Frou Frou, O-Zone, A*Teens (don't judge me), Rufus Wainwright, and many more. The only genre I can say that I refuse to listen to would probably be country. I mostly listen to rock/metal/punk, pop, and electronic, but I've taken a liking to folk, world, and indie type stuff. I <3 music.
Food:
Anything really. I am open to trying almost everything once. I've come to the conclusion that I am a selective pork eater (only ham cooked by my mother, or bacon and sausage is about all the pork I eat, which is quite rare).
The six things I could never do without
2. Friends.
3. Transportation (which can be the bus, a car, bike, etc.).
4. Food.
5. Computer/Internet.
6. Music.
