My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Welcome to my profile! My friends call me J.P.
I'm an old fashioned gentleman who's polite to everyone I meet. I try to live an honorable life and do the right thing at all times; granted, those are lofty goals, and doing the right thing is not often easy. I hope that the following doesn't paint me in too serous of a light, being as I'm also very goofy and light hearted.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a structural engineering firm as a drafter, making plans for industrial and commercial buildings. Working full time plus overtime sure does take up a lot of one's life. So far the lotto tickets haven't lead to a life of leisure.....
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Deep thinking about life, the universe and everything. And BBQ. And I'm not a bad chess player. Also, I love to cook. And sex.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most likely my height. Or eyes and smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Man, so many. Hemingway, Faulkner, I like almost any short story. Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker series was awesome. Ender series rocked. Nineteen Eighty Four-a new world order manual. All Quiet on the Western Front. Any hiking guide of Washington State. The Complete Guide to Bicycle Maintenance and Repair. I also just started reading about Runes. et cetera.

Shows: Anthony Bourdain No Reservation, Rome. I just started watching Games of Thrones. I have a lot of catching up to do. The Joe Rogan Experience, all day, all night! Frisky Dingo; "if you don't put a north arrow on it, it's not a map, it's just a drawing..."
Venture Bros.

Movies: Amelie, The Big Lebowski, Full Metal Jacket, Spanglish, Dr. Strangelove, Star Wars (the old ones, the new ones suck) The Hunt for Red October, Reservoir Dogs, Lit up, etc, ad nauseum.

Music: Anything that has a good beat or a good message. I'm into almost everything, other than some modern country. I have a vast knowledge and passion for Classical music from Gregorian chant to Gershwin. I also enjoy having a smoke and listening to Ratatat, The Gorillaz or Pink Floyd. I'm always looking for new cool music too.

Food: ah, my favorite topic of this box! I love many, but not all
kinds of food. I'll make it easier and just mention what I don't
like. Olives. Way too salty. And some of the more "fancy cheese"
and some fish. Um, that's about it. I have a DEEP passion for BBQ. I love to do it year round. There are only a few things that can not be cooked on a BBQ.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Air
Water
Nutrient dense sustenance
Shelter
Clothing
Good company
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nature Law and how the world stands today; and how I can make it better in any way.
And if anyone has had sex in space. I wonder what that would be like.
Also, is making pasta or gnocchi from scratch really worth the effort?
And where's the line between being very honest and over sharing?
Finally, when I'll next schedule a float at Float Seattle. You gotta check it out.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
BBQing year round. Drinking a beer, reading, watching a movie, running or biking, cooking, or going out with friends, or just lounging around. I'm a little bit if a nerd, so board games are always a good time in my humble opinion. Settlers of Catan is my all time favorite. Along with Chess.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I built a guitar out of cigar box. I'm currently building an amp.
I also payed OKCupid for an A-list account.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You feel like it.
Or you would like to go indoor skydiving or to a float tank place.
I also find it very attractive when a woman instigates contact.
