I'm a web developer (I write code and create internet things) in my mid 20's that recently moved to the Chicago area. I love my job and my dog, Stanley. Stanley is a boxer/bulldog mix. I also like to read, watch movies, and go out for drinks. Like everyone, I like to stay in, as well. I spend a lot of my time reading either fiction or about new stuff in my field of web design and development. I don't like non-fiction. I don't really care about sports but can enjoy watching. I don't have cable.
I'm not too concerned with you liking all the same things as me as long as we enjoy being around each other. I don't have anything I distinctly like in a woman besides the obvious (you should be female). The obvious is a good start.

I'm a Senior Web Architect in Chicago. I am working at a mid sized web company on Michigan Ave. My office has a great view! I am working during the week and sometimes on weekends. I like movies, reading, working on projects (web development), going out, or staying in! This routine seems to be working so I will probably stick with it for a while.

I don't have cable but I like to watch movies on Netflix and go to movies.

I like lots of books but the genres I enjoy most are mystery, sci-fi, futuristic and post-apocalyptic. Specifics include:
Margaret Atwood - Oryx and Crake and The Year of the Flood
Ender's Game
Earth Abides
Sherlock Holmes (most of them)
I enjoyed the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" series
Some less cool stuff like Dean Koontz books. Not to say these books aren't good, but that he is a churn and burn kind of author.

I enjoy a few HBO shows and things like Walking Dead, Always Sunny, Murder She Wrote (yeah, I like Murder She Wrote).

I'm not a big food person, so I'm not picky at all and like to go out for food and drinks.

Dog, technology of all sorts (I like gadgets), reading material of some sort (prefer fiction), internet, and ummm food and water?

Nerd stuff. And probably worrying about something I shouldn't be worried about. I'm a worrier.
