My self-summary
I am an Irish born and Australian raised, and am very much focused on creating the best future I can for myself and those around me. Might sound lame but it's the truth!

Easy going and fun loving; educated and opinionated; considerate and confident; sensitive and strong-willed. I am just as happy quietly reading a book as I am yelling to the person next to me at a party.

I very quickly grow tired of just talking about myself though, so I'll sum this up with three points:

a) I'm well-adjusted
b) I'm positive minded
c) I'm just the right amount of crazy*

* As in, I'm not boring but I'm not a lunatic either. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the performing arts, in various capacities. My main job is in arts marketing but I've also recently freelanced as a director, performer, publicist and in venue management. Work keeps me very busy, which I guess is why I've come to this website.
I’m really good at
Cheering people up, unless they have a stick firmly lodged up their arse! There's no helping those people.
The first things people usually notice about me
Bright eyes, big smile and a bushy tail! Two out of the aforesaid three are true.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: Way too many to list. Rock, electro, industrial, hip hop, classical, jazz, reggae, ambient, pop, and even country! There's something good in every genre.

TV: I lean towards comedies (30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Eastbound & Down, etc.) and documentaries (Louis Theroux, Jacques Cousteau, David Attenborough, etc.) but also love the more recent American HBO dramas, like Six Feet Under, The Sorpranos and Game of Thrones.

Film: Again, way too many to name. I like a lot of films by Martin Scorcese, Clint Eastwood, the Coen brothers, Robert Altman, some Steven Spielberg, P.T. Anderson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Lars Von Trier, Steve McQueen, David Fincher and Werner Herzog.

Books: Heaps and heaps! Stuff by authors like Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Henry Miller, Truman Capote, Ian McEwan, John Steinbeck, Vladimir Nabokov, Ernest Hemmingway, David Mitchell, Franz Kafka, Philip K. Dick, Harold Pinter, Tennessee Williams, George Orwell... I should really stop now.

You're intelligent, sassy, not overly precious and don't mind a good laugh.
