My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Bay Area native, know SF well and do my best to soak up all that it has to offer. My good friends would describe me as thoughtful, generous and inclined to say yes to fun (dinner parties, day time adventures, wknd trips, etc). They'd also say I'm sharp witted with a playful, silly and slightly irreverent sense of humor. I can make you laugh - if not with me, then definitely at me.

I'm always up for great company, food and beverages and tend to find myself out and about several nights a week. I'm a big concert goer - everything from indie, pop, electronica and country / bluegrass. Giants games with my dad were a big pastime growing up, and I still make it to a lot. Always playing with new hobbies too. Would love to be a better cook.

I enjoy running which is an awesome way to experience the Bay Area outdoors (Chrissy Fields, GG Park, Mt Tam, etc). I ran Bay 2 Breakers for the first time this year, though I've "walked" it many a time . I'm proud to say I finished strong then went back into GG park, costumed up and partied for the rest of the day. Fun fact - my favorite B2B costume was as a jockey rolling with a Kentucky Derby float in 2008.

Other fun facts - I love to ski and travel and have combined the two the last couple years. I skied Japan this year and Austria last year. Both were fantastic - not only the skiing but the cultural experiences. I'd really like to try heli-skiing at some point in the next several years.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Career wise - I've helped start-up an endowment investment office for a local university (Go Bears!). I like my work, find it rewarding and put in the hours at times. But I always make time for friends, family, interests, taking care of myself and living well. If that sounds like your kind of program, maybe we should hang out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Keeping busy and active doing fun, interesting stuff.
Staying on top of SF events (concerts, comedy shows, etc)
Certain sports - tennis, skiing, running...
Grilling on the BBQ in my backyard.
Generally taking care of myself.
Drinking Manhattans (my favorite adult beverage at the moment).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no idea. Probably some combination of my good looks, big smile and winning personality... or perhaps my sarcastic, self-depricating self of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - just read Girl Who Played with Fire, Born to Run and Me Talk Pretty Someday

TV shows - I'm not a big TV watcher but... Friday Night Lights might be my favorite show ever. (so sad it's over). Game of Thrones is riveting. At the moment, Master Chef is entertaining. SportsCenter.

Movies - I tend to like quirkier flicks. I'm a sucker for stylized films with great soundtracks. 500 Days of Summer. Garden State. Laurel Canyon is another good example. Wes Anderson films. I also have a soft spot for tear jerking films about self-discovery... like Antwone Fisher. I dare you to watch the final scene without the floodgates opening.

Food - anything tasty, anytime, anywhere. I tend to lean towards healthier stuff most of the time. A lot of sushi and fish. My mercury levels are probably off the charts. Great pizza.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My iPod shuffle - me gusta la musica.
Salsa - my salsa-to-chip ratio is breathtaking.
Bob's - my go-to after work bar. Best nut mix ever.
My running shoes - they go everywhere with me.
My brother - he's my hero. Don't tell him I said that though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the type of person I want to be so I don't lose of it
the relationships in my life and how I treat people
how I'm going to enjoy the coming wknd
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't have a typical Friday night. I might be meeting friends for drinks, trying a new restaurant, on a date, BBQing, getting takeout and watching a movie or headed somewhere out of town for the wknd.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to bake muffins. I feel so vulnerable right now...
