I have a 14 year old daughter who lives with me every other week, but is constantly part of my life. My ex and I have a great relationship outside of our marriage, and that will continue especially considering how much we love our daughter.

I’m a bit sarcastic at times and quite skilled at the understatement. I’m not exactly the most appropriate person, but I love humor and commit to it.

I have a desk job that I can listen to music all day, and I’m a total live music junkie. I’m constantly downloading concerts to listen to at work, lucky me!

I love to travel and can’t wait to go on my next trip (where/when ever it may be). Some of my favorite trips have been Kenya, the Dominican Republic, and I try to get to the OBX every year. I have a long list of places I still want to go and I want to see it all. I’m also a bit of a camper. I really enjoy taking my daughter and niece(s) on weekend trips or even add a couple days of camping on the beach a week in the OBX.

I love playing poker even though my losing streak would suggest I'm not very good at it.

I am funny, analytical, and dependable

I have a good job that I love. More importantly, I love the people I work with/for. I volunteer with a non-partisan voter registration group that focuses on concert goers as frequently as I can, normally a couple times a month.

My eyelashes, I have long eyelashes that most women seem envious of.

Books – I’m not a big book reader. But when I do read, I prefer non-fiction.

Movies – I’ll give most anything a chance. I’m rarely compelled to go to the theater, but love snuggling up on the couch to watch a good flick.

TV – My DVR records in no specific order: 30 Rock, Hank, Trauma, Dexter, Cougar Town, Modern Family, Mercy, Criminal Minds, Gary Unmarried, the Forgotten, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Heroes, Lost, Bored to Death, The Ultimate Fighter, Fringe, Community, the Office, Survivor, Saving Grace, Parks and Recreation, House, Nurse Jackie, Californication, Weeds, Entourage, Hung, and True Blood.

Music – I LOVE LIVE MUSIC!!! Moe., Phish, Gov’t Mule, the Grateful Dead, Phil & Friends, the Dead, Ratdog, DMB, Blues Traveler, O.A.R., anything with Col. Bruce Hampton, Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic, Todd Snider… Really anyone that lays it out live is right up my alley. Outside of the jam band scene, I like most music.

Food – I can be picky, but I’ve been trying new things. A good friend recently got me hooked on sushi, something I never thought I’d be willing to try. For the most part, I’m a meat and potatoes kind of guy.
