I moved to the area from Oklahoma in August to attend Notre Dame for grad school. I am not sure what exactly I am looking for on this website, but I am open to about anything. Whatever happens, happens!

That being said, I don't really know how to talk about myself, much less a "summary" haha. If there is anything you would like to know message me??

I am random, intelligent, and entertaining

School, school, and more school! Currently don't have time for much more than classes, my research and my dog! He is a 4 year old westie/terrier mix and is pretty much like my child.

I'll be honest... I'm a science nerd. But hey, some girls find a nerdy guy to be cute?! Also pretty good at listening, or so I have been told. I tend to be the group "therapist" for a lot of my friends, let them vent and so forth.

Staying up all hours of the day/night is a subspeciality of mine... gotta love finals!

Cooking. I find it almost therapeutic to cook a real meal (a true rarity when you're a single male living on your own). Let me know, maybe I could make you your favorite meal one night? ;)

That I am incredibly shy. When I meet someone new I am always really quiet, but once you get to know me... be prepared for sarcasm, a sense of humor, and a well-rounded guy.

Oh, and I can grow a beard like a chia pet.

Books: I am a sucker for the classics... The Count of Monte Cristo (Dumas) is one of my favorite books, Steinbeck, the Sherlock Holmes stories, but also more modern authors like Dan Brown, Chuck Palahniuk, and a few others.

Movies: I love movies. Too many to even list. Scary movies tend to be overrated, unless they are actually a psychological scary... those are much more fun. I guess if I had to pick a few, boondock saints, fight club, snatch, apocalypto, the hangover, no country for old men, and grandma's boy are probably up there toward the top.

Shows: House, Big Bang Theory, NCIS, and that's about all I watch on a regular basis...

Music! I will listen to anything but christian (sounds terrible, I know, but it all sounds so cliche and monotonous. I prefer metal and all sorts of rock to most music.. but I can hang with country and etc. as well. You can't make friends in Stillwater, America without an interest in country!

Food: My inner fat kid (named Ghrelin) enjoys most food. I hate seafood though. And I am lactose intolerant so keep your dairyness away from me.

Redundancies. ATM Machine, PIN Number, etc. Why do you say the last word when it's part of the acronym? And if you order bread in France do you get French bread? If you want sandwich bread do you have to order American bread?

Ways to improve the outlook of disease. My Ph.D. is (going) to be in Biochemistry, and I am really interested in researching diseases. Or how to improve/eradicate them from the population.

Travel. I have been stuck in Oklahoma for far too long and would LOVE to pick up and go. Tomorrow. And it doesn't matter where to really, I would just love to get away and see some stuff! Preferably out of the States.

Doing anything BUT academia. I am pretty much up for whatever, doesn't have to be the standard college Friday night. Commonly get together with friends to watch a movie, maybe go get a drink, go bowling, anything that can pass the time!

This is the internet. Nobody should ever give up anything private on the internet.
