My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I go by my middle name, which is Rory.

I enjoy learning from the people around me, and I like to be challenged. OKC is probably better than meeting the usual drunken train-wrecks at bars...but I like them too!

* Whenever I write these things I wonder whether I take myself too seriously (for that reason alone, I probably do). Nevertheless, I try not to.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been entrepreneurial over the past ten years, primarily advising small companies in the tech & healthcare space. Its been an awesome experience, but it has also created volatility in my personal life. I never thought I'd believe in this notion, but unchecked ambition definitely has a downside. Trying to change all of that!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being put to the test, listening, and finishing the job. Just those three.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My approachable & easy disposition.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Recently read Christopher Hitchens's Mortality. Sad, but he certainly lived a full life. Carol Blue's afterword is an inspiring testament to their relationship. They made a good pair.

Also, A Prayer for the City. I really like political history. Next up is The Death and Life of Great American Cities. I've read a lot of books on national politics, but I think I'm more interested in urban planning and local government. At this point it's probably good to note that I am a centrist (I sincerely see the best in democrats and republicans).

Inside Llewyn Davis is one damn fine film.

I've been listening to a lot of Eric Church.

I'll eat anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Variety, Scotch, New York City, HBO, warmth of the sunshine, and self-respect.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I don't want to die with too much potential or too much regret.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drowning in Guinness or counting cards at the underground casinos in Chinatown.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Life has been happening while I've been busy making other plans.
