MAYBE THE DINGOS ATE YOUR BABY!

Hey there, I'm John. I'm 32, and I live in Galveston, post-ike. I'm a marine biologist, working for NOAA fisheries. I get to work with helicopters and plastic explosives. Strange for a marine biologist, but it pays the bills. I work out in the gulf with the oil companies to make sure they aren't killing dolphins or sea turtles.

I like to cook, and do it quite often. I like to read, sometimes going through a book a day. A few years back I was driving an "art-car", which I really enjoyed, and miss it. Yah, I'm a little strange, but I'm strangely comfortable with that.

I really enjoy living on the island, and am glad this year wasn't a repeat of last year. Somehow we managed to make it through Ike last year with NO damage to our place. I grew up in the mid-west, and living down here has certainly been, ummm, different. But I've been down here over 10 years, and I like it.

I've asked my friends to sum me up in one word, and most of them used the word "random". I have an odd sense of humor, and I love a good pranking. Like I said above, I'm strange, and I'm comfortable with it. If you're looking for someone who's "normal", keep looking. Trust me, nobody is normal. Some people are just less willing to accept their inner weirdness.

Trying to think of some sort of mischief to cause, although I'm running out of ideas, so I usually just end up vegging out on the couch.

Due to an unfortunate accident as a small child involving plutonium, I glow in the dark. And it also gave me other assorted super-powers.
