I was born in a hospital that looks like an octopus (or a squid--I
can never remember the difference). I grew up with an average
amount of dogs, an above average amount of siblings, and a below
average number of Ninja Turtles. Most of my childhood was spent in
my favorite My Little Pony pajamas, including the time I put peanut
butter in my family’s VCR yelling, “Friendship is magic!”
I was a handful.
Upon graduating college, I left my hometown for graduate school, vowing never to return.
Then, I returned to my hometown. Now, I vow to never to trip over a pot of leprechaun gold, just in case.
I have both a master’s degree and a law degree. I have both a master’s degree and a law degree. Currently, I work for the government, and also work part-time as a content writer.
My most recent idea is to start a law firm that represents robots. And then wait.
In my spare time, I like to read crazy-good books, watch amazing television, write, and be outside. I exercise 4-5 times a week, but pride myself on not being a meathead.
Even though you may not get this impression from my profile, I am a reserved and thoughtful person. I prefer listening to speaking, but if it’s something I’m passionate about, I will talk your ear off. I am allergic to pretentiousness, and tend to use my wit to call people on it. Friends and family know they can rely on me, and I’m the first person they come to when they need help with a problem (and not just because I’ve seen heaps of Law and Order).
I just moved to the area. I spent the last year in Federal Way taking care of my grandparents, but have now moved to Olympia for work.
I want to get better at writing for my stories and scripts. One day, I want to open an academy that allows kids to workout/train for sports and also get tutoring help with homework and SAT prep.
