My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey guys...laid-back, honest, and straight forward guy here. Ultimately looking for something long term but wanting it to happen more organically, not forcing anything here. I try to keep myself active physically, socially, and mentally.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a psychologist and work at an outpatient clinic. I like it some days more than others, but there's never a dull moment. Outside of work, I love movies, theater, sports, spending time with friends, getting outside when I can, etc.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being myself...I'm the kind of guy who says what he's thinking and feeling, hopefully in a tactful way, but I'm a pretty open book. Have a good sense of humor, have been told I'm a good listener, and can remember the most meaningless facts.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my smile...I tend to smile alot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Really wide range of taste when it comes to this stuff. Love going to the movies (anything from Oscar-nominated movies to terrible horror movies to slapstick comedies), live music when possible (although I like most music that makes me feel good or is just fun), love the theater (musicals > plays but not by much), and like most food (except for most cheese).

Some favorites: Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Club Dread, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Moonrise Kingdom, My Cousin Vinny, reality television (some trashier than others), food network, Game of Thrones, Parks and Rec, baseball and football, Book of Mormon, 1776, the list goes on.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, family, fresh water, sushi, the gym, and lots and lots of unpaid government loans.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm going to have for dinner...I spend entire subway rides home from work mulling it over!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing anything from relaxing at home, hanging with friends, out drinking and/or dancing, seeing a movie or a show...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I came out pretty late...and as a result, I don't really like to keep things secret. I did that for way too long already.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you're looking to meet up and see if there's some kind of a connection. If you love New York City enough that you're not looking to leave for the foreseeable future. If you're cute (that's very subjective of course), smart (subjective again), passionate about things, care about people and yourself, and most importantly...if you can carry on a conversation where there's a back and forth!
