I'll keep this simple. If you are looking for a nice, honest guy, that wants a relationship, opens doors and treats women with respect I'm that guy. I have a job I love, a car, my own place and I am a full-time single dad.

My personality is a weird mashed up mix of a college sports loving, sci-fi geek, beatnik, video game playing, pop culture quoting, Beastie Boy with a small amount of comic book nerd and All-American boy next door thrown in.

I am hoping to find a girl to spend time with, someone that enjoys my company as much as I do hers. One that laughs at my jokes and makes me laugh. Best case I find a great friend that I can come home to every night. I'm not a hopeless romantic, I'm a hopeful one.

I have a great job, I love it and feel lucky to work there. I ship marketing materials for a bio pharmaceutical company. It's not as glamorous as it sounds, but I like who I work with and what I do.

I am a pretty big movie fan and will watch just about anything. Sci-fi and the super hero movies are probably my favorites.

My taste in music is all over the place and I like most all of it...you can keep Celine Dion though. I have recently been on a singer/songwriter kind of folk kick lately. So I am listening to a lot of the Avett Brothers, The Head and the Heart, Lumineers kind of stuff.

Of course, my kid is essential. As is oxygen and water. But these are givens, right?

What to fix for diner, that is on my mind a few times everyday.

I work first shift so Friday nights are typically for relaxing and unwinding from the work week. Saturday night is a different story

A friend of mine recently took me to a local jazz night, all that was missing was Bird Parker on the saxophone. A dark upstairs parlor with an amazing trio drums, piano and stand up bass playing 45 minute songs with loooong soulful solos. Sitting at the bar with the ghosts of Jack and Allen nodding my head to the music, sipping my bourbon,just digging the music and the scene. Yes! I thought. What a magnificent city I live in, there is no new place for us to go, everything has already been done...but man how I dig finding a great spot
