My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Michigan native, making a life for himself out here in Idaho. I am a very sociable person who loves to be around people and likes to hear their stories. I've lived in Boise since 2008, so I guess you could say I've laid some roots down here.

I'm here, like I'm sure a lot of people are, to find that one special person. I just started my 30s and would like to be able to share the prime years of my life with someone. I'm not expecting to get married and start a family tomorrow, but it would be nice to start heading down that path sooner, rather than later.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just living it. I've had a job with the same company for nearly seven years now, with a couple promotions along the way.

Outside of work, I'm enjoying spending time with friends. All my family lives out of state, so they've kind of become my Idaho family. I enjoy going out to watch hockey or football games, singing my heart out at karaoke night, or stretching my brain muscles at bar trivia.

I enjoy anything where I'm on the lake, or really any body of water, for that matter.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Convincing myself that this is the year the Detroit Lions are going to win the Super Bowl. It's going to happen this year! And if not, it will next year! And if not then, the year after that! Don't try to convince me otherwise!

I've also been told I'm pretty entertaining at karaoke night. I'm someone who has always had a good grasp on song lyrics, and I like to challenge myself. So I've kinda become known as the guy who does rap songs. I'm pretty much the Biggie Smalls of my group of friends.

Overall, I guess I'm just good at making people laugh. I like humor, I love a good joke, and if I find something to be funny I'm not afraid to point it out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my clumsiness. I am not graceful at all. That or my outgoing personality. It's a pretty lethal combination.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

In terms of music: O.A.R., Dave Matthews Band, Dispatch (bonus points to anyone that knows them), Michael Franti and Spearhead, Pearl Jam, Childish Gambino, Van Morrison, Bob Segar, U2, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers (more bonus points if you know them), Blues Traveler, Bruce Springsteen (I'm convinced that Jungleland is 10 minutes of pure musical perfection, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise), the list goes on...

My favorite movie probably changes by the minute, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Shawshank Redemption. If I see that movie is on TV, I will usually watch it.

TV Shows: My all-time favorite is South Park. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are heroes of mine. I like anything that you can binge watch on Netflix and follow a story line. I loved Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy.

For food, I'm usually up for anything as long as it doesn't have nuts. I'm not allergic, I just don't like them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Sports. That is probably the first thing I fell in love with when I was a kid. 2) My friends and family. They keep me sane, 'nuff said. 3) Music. I listen to it wherever I go. 4) Laughter. It is one of the most important building blocks in life. 5) The news. I like to keep up with what is going on in the world. 6) The open road. It makes me feel free.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What song I'm going to conquor at karaoke next. Over the last year or so I've mastered "Today Was a Good Day." I'm ready for a new challenge and always accept requests/suggestions.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights I'm usually working late. Saturday night is my night to get out and do stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a pretty honest person, but I'm not going to share all that stuff here, haha. One thing I will share that people always find quirky is that I have no sense of smell. But yes, I can still taste. I'm not really sure how that works, either.

Also, I have no problem talking to random people. Stranger Danger was never an issue for me. It's probably a miracle I was never kidnapped growing up.
