My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So I find that every couple months, I feel like completely taking this thing apart and putting it back together. Guess I got to keep it fresh. I mean would people still buy Nickelback's music if they didn't change it up every now and then? Oh, wait.... (side note: If it's not obvious, I have a huge disdain for the band. Probably not the most important thing about me, but something I want to be known).

If you ask me where I'm from, I will point to my right hand. I grew up in a place called Ace Deuce. You probably know it better as Ann Arbor, Michigan. It's famous for having a stadium that seats more than 35,000 fans and a football tradition that dates back further than the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. Yeah, I said it. What's up?

I went to college in Indiana, then moved to New Hampshire for a year, decided New Hampshire wasn't a random enough state for me and came out to Idaho. Partially true story.

I'm random. I have fun. I strive to be the type of person that people want to be around. I love jokes that come around full circle and will laugh at just about anything I find the slightest bit funny. I'm quick witted at times. I think that's the Irish in me. I have thick skin, so I can take a joke. But be warned, I'll throw it right back at you.

I love playing sports, and I have pretty awesome trash talking skills. And that's about it. When I play softball, I'm like Albert Pujols, without the power. When I play golf, I make Charles Barkley look like Tiger Woods (before the porn stars and the car crash). When I run, well, let's be real. I'm a big guy, I don't like to run.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a secret government spy. I travel the globe and go undercover to get close to some of the world's most tyrannical leaders. And just when they start to trust me, I take them out!

OK, so I made that all up, but it's so much cooler than what I really am doing with my life. So I'm going to go with that for now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being random and making people laugh. It's just a skill I've always had, and I'm not shy about using it. If I were a video game character, that would be my secret move. Up, Down, Up, Left, L1, Right, Up would be the code to unlock it, and you would never lose using it.

On the subject of games, Mario Kart. The original Super NES one. Battle Mode. I will own.

Random trivia. I read random articles on wikipedia for fun, and really have a bunch of random factoids in my head that probably will never come in handy except for when I play Last Call Trivia at the bars around Boise

Road trips. I don't know how one can be bad at roadtrips, but it seems appropriate to put it here. I'm weird in the fact that I love long car rides. I love it especially when I get to see parts of the country I have never seen. I drove out to Idaho from New Hampshire four years ago and it was an amazing journey.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My outgoing personality. I am not shy and I love to meet new people.

Maybe my voice. I've been told on more than one occasion by strangers I should be on the radio. I guess that probably has something to do with my personality, because I am not quiet at all.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
In terms of music: O.A.R., Dave Matthews Band, Dispatch (bonus points to anyone that knows them), Michael Franti and Spearhead, Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, Jay-Z, John 'Don't Call Me Cougar' Mellencamp, Bob Segar, U2, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers (more bonus points if you know them), Supertramp, Bruce Springsteen (I'm convinced that Jungleland is 10 minutes of pure musical perfection, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise) the list goes on...

My favorite movie is Boondock Saints, but like music, my tastes are all over the board. Other favorites: Gangs of New York, the Departed, Shawshank Redemption, Field of Dreams, Mighty Ducks I and II (but not III), All the Back to the Futures, Inception, and again, I could go on all day.

TV Shows: My all-time favorite is South Park. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are heroes of mine. My two other favorites right now are Fringe and Sons of Anarchy. I also have Community, the Office, 30 Rock, The Simpsons and Modern Family set to record on my DVR. I miss Friday Night Lights and wish that show would come back on the air. I've recently started to getting into How I Met Your Mother... And I have a pretty interesting theory on who the mother actually is, which I will share if you ask nice enough.

For food, I'm usually up for anything as long as it doesn't have nuts. I'm not allergic, I just don't like them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Sports. That is probably the first thing I fell in love with when I was a kid. 2) My friends and family. They keep me sane, 'nuff said. 3) Music. I listen to it wherever I go. 4) Laughter. It is one of the most important building blocks in life. 5) The news. I like to keep up with what is going on in the world. 6) The open road. It makes me feel free.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What song I'm going to conquor at karaoke next. Right now, I think I'm ready to take on "Get By" by Talib Kweli.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Well I'm a sports writer, so usually at a high school game of some sort, depending on the season. Fall it's football, Winter it's basketball and spring it's either baseball/softball or track and field.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a pretty honest person, but I'm not going to share all that stuff here, haha. One thing I will share that people always find quirky is that I have no sense of smell. But yes, I can still taste. I'm not really sure how that works either.

Also, I have no problem talking to random people. Stranger Danger was never an issue for me. It's probably a miracle I was never kidnapped growing up.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if? Pft, that should read "You should message me."

I promise underneath the randomness and off the wall humor, I am a nice, genuine guy. Or, maybe I'm just BSing you. But you'll never know unless you try, right? :)
