Although French, re-discovering Paris, I have been out for a couple of years. Theatre, terrasses, great food, or just walking or velibing (I love velib) around
On the beach: a good thriller/detective story (ex fred vargas) with some brazilian electronic in the background
On the plane/train en route to/back from vacations: a book about the place I am visiting. love to put images on words, after having imagined it
During week evenings: a novel/biography (kundera/pennac/tolstoi)
In the morning: radio news.
Sunday morning/afternoon: le monde with radio nova
Otherwise, I love going to the theatre. And Paris is such a catch for that. Movies are great, but I'd rather pay 10 euros to see people play.
Food: mostly, all what is cooked with fresh ingredients. Love discovering food from all over, but I always come back to French food.
Laughing at least 3 times a day.
Sitting down for a proper lunch. One thing I don't regret about my US consultant life.

Nature. Paris is great, but not enough to replenish the energy for the week (a ski trip or a hike is definitely better)
Blackberry, and Iphone, though I would love to learn to live without those two
