I really enjoy guys with a strong command of the English language, both in oratory and written form. Great conversation is important to me.

film: fight club, american beauty, kiss kiss bang bang, the LOTR triology (no, i'm not kidding), O Brother Where Art Thou?, Labyrinth, Citizen Kane, Chinatown, Godfather (I and II), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, and I have a soft spot in my heart for the Pirates of the Caribbean series, but there's a story behind that. also - anything with a great or creative soundtrack. the first CD i ever bought was a soundtrack.

TV - Daily Show and Colbert Report, South Park, West Wing, House, M*A*S*H, Iron Chef America, Top Chef; and The Wire is possibly the best-written show in years.

Food: I appreciate street food just as much as four-star dining. I'll eat anywhere with great sushi.

i have been "that girl" once or twice. but only once or twice.

You like honest girls who aren't afraid to be opinionated and outgoing. I really enjoy people who are passionate about music, but i like passionate people in general. You enjoy a smart girl who loves learning as much as she does sharing her knowledge.

You enjoy the small things - like completing a difficult crossword puzzle or an amazing cup of coffee. You enjoy the quiets moments as much as the loud and exciting ones. You can laugh at yourself, and others, of course.

I say this respectfully, and with the utmost sincerity: please do not message me if you commonly use "words" like "r" and "u" in your writing. Those aren't words. It's highly likely i will not respond. Nothing personal, I just appreciate people that take the extra moment to use real language. Proper English is dying and this is my way of putting a quarter in the theoretical jar to save it.
