There's really no non-awkward way to start this so here it goes... I value wit, drive, and kind heartedness in a person. And humor, you can't forget about that. I have a goofy sense of humor and I love making people laugh almost as much as I love laughing (I'm a kid at heart). I love adventuring outdoors, coffee, and the smell of home improvement stores (I don't even care if that's weird.)
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from the University of Georgia last May and I'm working in Atlanta in the financial industry. I'm trying to develop a tolerance/affinity for running so that's fun. And I love listening to music any chance I get and I have the bad habit of listening to songs on repeat until I can no longer tolerate them. Also TGFN (Thank God For Netflix). I recently adopted a kitten and I hope to adopt a dog sometime in the future!
I’m really good at
I love to read, socialize, eat, cook, etc. I love sliding on hardwood floors in my socks. I love playing board games and card games even if my poker face is nonexistent. I can remember a bunch of random, practically useless facts so I'm a pro at trivia. And people think I'm funny, which is weird because I get most of my jokes from the internet. (I'm especially good at wasting time on Reddit and Imgur)
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh. I laugh a lot. My sense of humor and smile, my goofy, fun-loving disposition. My inability to form proper sentences with nouns and verbs (as apparent in the prior sentence)
I also make an unhealthy amount of SpongeBob references in daily conversation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big Lord of The Rings fan, both the books and the movies. And I love Crime and Punishment, The Great Gatsby, anything Jack Kerouac and/or Hemingway. Movies I love are Gone with the Wind, Midnight in Paris, Caddyshack, Monty Python, etc. Anything that'll make me laugh/ anything with an awesome plot twist. But given the choice between watching a movie or a tv show, I'll choose the TV show 9/10 times.
That given, I've watched a lot of shows but here are my favorites: Arrested Development, Bobs Burgers, Archer, Spongebob, 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Parks and Rec, Rick and Morty, broad City, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but I enjoy anything well-written that will make me laugh.
I absolutely love live music and going to concerts, even if it's a band I've never heard of. It's hard to pin down my musical taste, but I'd say its indie, alternative, acoustic. Currently I'm listening to Hozier, Milky Chance, Simon and Garfunkel, Mumford & Sons, twenty one pilots, etc. constantly looking for new music!
And that whole southwestern tex-mex food craze is my jam. Barberitos 4 lyfe.
The six things I could never do without
other than the basic food, water, family, friends
1. Guacamole (yes I know it's extra)
3. Sunlight (I am basically a plant)
5. A comfy bed, and an even comfier pillow
6. Commas. I use an insane amount of commas, half of them probably aren't necessary.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How it would be to live in a time without modern conveniences (and subsequently, how thankful I am for modern conveniences). If any of my favorite sports teams will ever not disappoint me (the joys of being an Atlanta sports fan...)
And parallel galaxies. The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma.
On a typical Friday night I am
breathing. eating. sleeping.
OH and going out with my friends too.
or staying in and watching a movie. Either one is good with me. I
love being spontaneous, even if it's just going to Taco bell at 4
am. Live más y'all.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Although I can be sarcastic and make fun of you, that's my way of
Pssht who am I kidding? I'm not admitting the deepest, most private
things about my life to strangers.
You should message me if
if you know a really funny/cheesy joke
If you have a favorite episode of spongebob you're prepared to discuss
If you have a beard
If...you feel like it.
