Originally from this area, I am returning after a 15 year stint in NYC. It is a tough transition, but a good one.
Having relocated, I could use a tour guide through the nuances of midwestern culture. ;) It feels like a bit of a foreign country now that I'm back.
I am a woman who knows what she wants and what she doesn't. That said, I think people grow and change throughout their lives so I'm also open to life's surprises. I am ready to find someone who wants to enjoy the journey together.
I am The Rolling Stones over The Beatles.
I am Renaissance Art over Modern Art.
I am Documentaries and Podcasts over Animation and easy humor.
I have a Shorkie-Bichon named Bette Davis. Take that for what you will. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
I currently teach at a local college. I am slowly getting acquainted with suburbia. I am forever trying to focus on the present.
I’m really good at
Communicating, I laugh easily, I work hard and relax well. Before my teaching career I was a singer and actress. I think I was pretty good, but there came a point where bohemia no longer seemed romantic...it just meant poor. ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
It seems to be my eyes. Or that they think they have met me before. I am familiar that way. I am often told I look like Lainie Kazaan. or Bette Midler. Whatevs.

the love you make.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I get home, whether on my lunch hour or even if I am just
going to be home for 30 minutes, I always put on my pajamas.
You should message me if
If you read my profile and want to grab a drink and have some great
conversation. Even if it doesn't work out, there is always a story.
